A Cup of Rage
Her cup was full, full to the brim. It was on the verge of overflowing. Monet seethed with rage at Lola. She felt like she was filled with gunpowder and was one Monet away from exploding.
She was a delicate ceramic cup; if she exploded according to her feelings, she would say words she could never take back. Words are permanent prints that cannot be erased. Just like delicately handling a ceramic cup, she had to calm herself and exorcise all the anger with deep breaths, so she would not shatter into unmendable ceramic pieces.
