Good and controversial topic. I don't really agree with what you expose, I would prohibit cell phones in class, in the same way that it is forbidden to shout in class or it is forbidden to hit a classmate. The use of cell phones is distracting.
Another thing is that with the current study palanes, where there is no time to check sources, where they indoctrinate more than educate, maybe teachers are not enough. In this sense, I am sure that for students an AI is better than a human teacher.

I do not know, I still think that it is good to ban things, rather you have to educate and learn how to use them, but of course those who use them bad always exist, the same goes for firearms, they are not bad in themselves , but the humans who use them to do evil.
We may reach the conclusion, which, after all, humans are the ones who must be prohibited on the planet. 😀
In any classroom, as in any time or place, there are things that are allowed and things that are not allowed. For example, I am not in the business of educating people not to come into my house. No one enters my house that I do not want to enter. 😎
