East Lake Enjoyment

Took the girlies to one of our favorite spots the other day, Easter Lake Falls. Most people here would call it City Lake Park, but it didn't get that name until about a decade ago and it was the first place I lived in Tennessee. The locals there, collectively called it East Lake and it has stuck with me since.

It has always been one of my favorite spots in Putnam County. I have some really cool pictures I'll post on @blemish for the bug and macro fans. Thought maybe some of you could use a few serene waterfalls for a moment.

And of course, some of those heart string pullers! Yes, the baby dolls went with us. And yes, we played in the cool water looking for critters and just enjoyed the experience. That last one was the raw file before I edited for the contest. Got 3rd place! I hope you REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even if I'm not.

It's pretty overshadowed by the larger waterfalls in the area so doesn't get near the amount of traffic and people, which makes it really quiet. !PIMP
