The aftermath of a toxic relationship
A toxic relationship is one that no matter how much love we tend to profess to an abusive partner, we should be all means back out from the relationships relationship which is definitely termed as unhealthy.Trust me, being in a toxic relationship can be hell, affecting both the mental and emotional health of it victims.
For so many reasons, I have tried my possible best to avoid any kind of relationship that would want to drain me physical, mentally and emotionally and that I have been able to achieve with the help of God and pray it continues like this. But then I also have come in contact with one or two toxic relationships of which I don't wish that for anybody. Two years back, I traveled to the city of Abuja where I went for a training course and then unfortunately, my neighbor over there was a chronic woman beater. Like.... It was so disgusting seeing the way he pounced on his wife every now and then despite the fact she is with a child. Whenever his beating his wife, he does it passionately like his fight with his fellow man and that evenmade me dislike him a lot and sometimes I wonder what made her fall in love with him. This woman in question was literally a shadow of herself day by day and one way or the other I will blame her for making such mistake.
A toxic relationship isn't something one should ever think of trying to accommodate by any means no matter the situation that too while still dating before talking of getting married. From the information I gathered from other neighbors, I was told this lady during her courtship period with the woman beater ( her husband) he always throw blows at her even before marriage. People actually thought she would end the relationship but were shocked when their wedding card came out meaning she deliberately signed in to the beating which gave the man a legal right to maltreate her the more.

I have seen people make this mistake over and over again and with no doubt that's why there is a high rate of divorce in the society. If I should say, in a relationship there tends to be some red flags of which people neglect. No small tree turns into a big one overnight rather it takes time to fully mature of which people never care about.
The effect of a toxic relationship can be so disastrous, as it leads to so many negative results such as low self-worth, depression, abuse and even death. To avoid this aftermath, people should endeavor never to avoid warning signals. Warning signals are real and when detected earlier helps to save one from the aftermath of a toxic relationship and I so wish non of my loved ones fall victim of a toxic relationship.

There is something I have learnt in life: it is that once you allow something in your life whether good or bad, it keeps happening if you don't stop it when you should.
Some ladies would see signs of red flags before marriage but would still go in with the thought they will change their partners or it is love that blinded them until they enter into marriage where it becomes hard to get out.
So, I would say most toxic relationships are the victim's fault as they couldn't take the right step when there was time.
