Newbies Task 8: A story of success

Indeed time flies over us, but one good thing it does is to leave it's shadow behind. All said and done, we've come to the end of the newbies initiative program which commenced two months back. The journey definitely was a smooth ride and personally am most grateful to God for making me come across this mind blowing program and to all the leadership of the house @startstrings01 and @nkemakonam89 I say a very big thank you for granting myself and others the opportunity to learn under your covering. And to my amiable team leader @eunice9200, I know how from time to time I disturbed your Dm yet you always graciously respond to my plight thank you. I guess this appreciation isn't over without thanking sir drey and ma'am phyna for being an amazing team lead as well and lastly to all our wonderful tutors, thank you.

Recounting on my progress for the last two months, I was able to achieve 85% of my said goals which is definitely a plus from my end. Without further ado these were my goals then and my progress now.

Hive power goal, the goal was to raise my HP from 185 to 400 but unfortunately I was able to take it up to 325. Not withstanding, I'll keep pushing.

For my reputation goal, that was achievable as it is now in 62 from 60. Moving on to my engagement goal, I sail through it and the plan was to give a total comment of 780 which I exceeded and give a total of 1467.

My experience all through the initiative was a remarkable one, as I never thought the people on hive could be so kind to even willing to help others grow and see them succeed. Not just that I get to interact with a lot of hivers which I think won't be possible if not for the initiative. I sure know mentioning all what I learned for the past months would definitely take all the space in the world 🤣 that's just by the way. 😊 nevertheless my favorite task of all was task 2 hive guidelines and markdowns, dos and don't of the blockchain. That particular task introduced me to a whole lot about the blockchain such as applying markdowns on our work to make it stand out and captivating to my readers. The dos and don't such as what we are required to do and what we are not to do to avoid facing penalties from hive watchers when caught so that alone is a very big step to have a good reputation and being successful on the blockchain.

If there is one thing I have to say concerning the initiative is to encourage the leadership to keep doing the most for other newbies out there cause trust me whatever I have achieved for the last two months I owe it to the newbies initiative cause I won't have done it all by myself.
