More than just a toy: LOH#196
Hello beautiful ladies of Hive, for this week contest #196, this is my entry. My Favorite toy as a child? and why? All thanks to @saffisara for bringing up this amazing prompt. 😊
I was never this girlie girl right from childhood and even though mum likes to buy lots of toys for me I never use to play with them. Being mummy's only female child you could guess how she wanted me to be comfortable and ensure she buys as many toys she could lay her hands on. Me on the other hand loves to play with my brothers a lot and that was the reason I never really play with toys not until I saw a friend of mine who had a Barbie doll. My friends Barbie doll was big that too her hair was long. I so much love the doll a lot and for the first time I requested that mummy buys me a doll similar to Vera's own.
Initially mum was scared buying the doll cause she knows I won't play with it but then I gave her my words. Even though it took her time to get me the doll she eventually bought me my own Barbie doll. 🎎 I so much love and cherish my doll a lot cause of her size and the length of her hair and it became my favorite among all the other toys. I ensure my Cinderella gets a new dress weekly and give her new hairstyle cause I love making her hair. Mum would be like Ene leave Cinderella's hair to rest a while else she loses all her hair in a short time. 🤣 Whenever mummy delays to buy Cindy a new dress I often take a thread, needle and piece of cloth to make her a dress. Most at times the turnout of the dress isn't what I wanted but because it was sewed with so much love I'll put it on her like that. So my Barbie doll whom I named Cinderella was my favorite toy as a child.

I understand what you say about not wanted to play with all toys but hang with your brothers.
I played alot with my brother growing up and my boy friends. I was a little of a boygirl as I didn't like to be all Princess dressed Eather. I loved my bike, and climb in trees, play with lego with my friends. But I did love barbie alot so like you... The barbie was my favorite and especially one of them.

You guessed right....mom loved Cindy as much as I loved her thats why she always warned not to play with her hair to often. 😁
My brothers are my best friends till date and I love to hang around them even when they say I disturbe a lot. But I was so scared of climbing trees cause I don't want to dislocate my legs or hands should incase I fall.
