Healthy Tumeric, Lemon and Ginger Drink For Supporting The Immune System
Hello lovers of @amazingdrink, welcome you all to my blog. Today am thrilled to share with us a very healthy Immune boosting drink. I particularly love this drink because of it health benefits and importance to the human body.
Immune boosting drinks are highly rich drinks which our body system needs for different purposes such as helping the body protect itself and fight off infection. Lemons are highly recommended fruits due to their proficiency for providing humans with vitamin C which helps to fight infections. Lemons does a lot of work to the human body such as boost immunity, aid in weight loss, digestion, boost complexion and a lot of benefits that is why it is so recommended for this drink. The cold fighting properties of ginger can help fight infections and cold. Tumeric contains curcumin which helps reduce inflammation and pain. Now the combination of lemon, tumeric and ginger is where the magic lies to give us what we desire.
All three ingredients used are all natural and healthy so no fear about it.
This drink has been beneficial a lot to my health and that of my mom, cause my mom no longer complains of some certain things and the ginger is really doing justice to the cold she's always catching which has been helpful.
To begin with our drink, these were the ingredients used:
*Local lemon (1)
*Tumeric (1 big teaspoon)
*Ginger (1 small teaspoon blend)
*Water (75CL)
The process of making this drink is relatively swift and consume little time too while the ingredients are our usual household kitchen ingredients which can be found in virtually every home and can also be gotten in the market for a good price.
PROCEDURES
Firstly, I washed my lemon properly and then peeled the skin After which I went ahead to give my ginger a blend but not a smooth one.
When that was done, I added the water into a stainless bowl, pour in the ginger, followed by the powdered tumeric. You can use your fresh tumeric if the powdered one is not available and yes I processed my turmeric myself so it is safe. I then cut the local lemon open squeeze out the juice in the bowl of mixed ginger and turmeric and in other to get the whole essence of the lemon juice, I sliced it then add it up in the bowl too , stir properly with a spoon and set on fire to cook for about 10-15 minutes.
When the mixture has been cooked and nutrients released, I allowed to cool off after which I used a sieve cloths to separate the juice from the chaff and our supportive drink for the immune system is ready.
Adviceble to consume when still warm not hot and taken morning and night just like I use to do and 240ML morning, night would do just same size like the tea cup I used. the disposable cup as shown in the pictures which is 120ML to get my measurements.
