Family reunion: A moment of love and care

A good family is definitely one of the best gift everyone would appreciate and there is nothing as peaceful as having a happy family, people who love and cherish us and are ready to go extra miles to put a smile on our faces. A lot of times have been down due to one circumstances and the other but then when majority of friends left me alone my immediate family were there by my side including my younger siblings giving their best support that is why I consider family as the best gift one can have and because we don't choose our families, we can say we are blessed to have a nice and cheerful families. 😍

Family reunion are time to catch up with other members of the family and do the normal long time no see greatings with each others. Now when it comes to hosting of functions, my paternal grandparents house is always considered first. My late grandpa would ensure we prepare meals with the best of his farm produce, kill some of his goats and my grandma isn't left behind like she even wants to do more than grandpa but you know he always wins. 🤣

I love that moment a lot like everybody tends to forget his or her troubles to ensure the aim of the gathering is not aborted and other funny episodes that comes up which makes it even memorable. I remember during one of the reunion party, my aunt was like Ene come go drop this pot of meat inside you guys room and I was like what about the kitchen? But she insisted it must be inside mine and my cousins room to prevent it from midnight predators who don't like sleeping.🤣 Hmmm!! Indeed my aunt was trying to save the meat from being devoured not knowing she was endangering the meat more by trusting it into our hands. I quietly and happily took the meat in and waited till everyone was fast a sleep before my cousins and I ate meat like there was no tomorrow and till date I can't help but smile whenever I remember that silly act and ith the joy that we weren't caught. 😄

Although we love our maternal grandmama alot and with all honesty, a side my late grandpa my maternal grandma is my favourite before paternal grandma like that woman is the most humbled and kind hearted person have come across in my life so quite and chearful and again she loves dashing me money a lot. But we can't hold functions in her house cause my daddy is the first male and considered the elder of the family even though he is not the first child but because of his position as an elder we hold functions in his parent house and now that his daddy is late he really needs to assume a full time fatherly role. Nevertheless once a while a get together party is also organize to keep the family bonds stronger.
