We live in a world where most people are trying so hard to become another person. The most funny aspect of being ashamed of oneself is that, a unique quality that serves as a source of shame for one person might be exactly what another person is looking for.

That last line is as factual as it is.
That is soooo true. You may be shameful of your one eye, but a completely blind person is at the corner, praying and hoping that they get one eye at least.
All we can do is to appreciate ourselves no matter how bad things are. I remember some time ago when i was thinking of how bad my broken tooth looks. I don't know how, but i began to think of other people that don't have teeth at all. How do these people eat solid food? i asked myself. I couldn't help it but be glade and grateful that its just one tooth that broke.
