Hello guys, week 39 is here and almost wrapping up. This week, I'll do a review on “Stand By Me,” Cover By @rut.hernandez06.

This week has an intriguing topic: “Legendary Movie Soundtracks.” I was excited when I saw the topic. I know that this week is going to be interesting because the contestants would have to go the extra mile to dig out songs from movies and to also get creative on how to make their entries unique.

“Stand By Me,” was sung by Ben E King. It was featured in the movie “Stand By Me” in 1986. The movie was about friendship and transformation from childhood to adolescence.

The song is full of meaning, it talks about the confidence, strength and hope that the presence of those we care about gives us.

It also talks about what is meant to truly stand by someone.

The line I love in the lyrics is “whenever you are in trouble, won't you stand by me? Oh, stand by me. Won't you stand now? Oh stand.”

Such a powerful verse. Most people think that standing by people means to be there for them when things are good, but the truth is that's only a part of it, to truly stand by someone means being there for them always, even in the darkest moments.

I do not know why rut.hernandez06 chose this song, but she made a good choice of song. I was deeply moved by it.

Rut.hernandez06 is such a good artist, the way she made her entry was amazing. She made use of the instrumental from the original song. She started by giving some body moves and a beautiful, contagious smile. I'll tell you the truth, it's been a while since I saw such a big smile.

She was so free and connected to the song, moving her head and body according to the beat.

Honestly the beat was magical. I can't clearly tell the instrument used, but the sound of the guitars was heavenly, you can't resist it.

Her voice was audible and soothing. One thing I love about her entry was the fact that she didn't try to become Ben E, by twisting her voice into his. She simply used her voice, no stress, no complications.

She flowed so well until the end and seriously I enjoyed every bit of it. That was a good performance.
