The Journey Continues

Growth is a gradual process, I don't know much about how to run a community but from what I see around on the blockchain, I know it is not an easy task, if not most people should be having one or even more by now. I have not been active in this community for some time now but I can say that the community is growing. I want to use this medium to thank @terganftp for making it possible for all of us to be here. We can't thank you enough sir. I hope I got your name right this time around hehe.

It's a new year, and in every new year, we are expected to move forward and not backward or even worse remain stagnant. True growth is measured when there is progress. I was so happy to see the community's banner. It seems it was posted long ago but I just saw it a few days ago. It's a good thing, I am so happy about it honestly.

Growing is a step-by-step something, I don't know why, but I have this strong belief that this community is going to be one of the hottest communities on Hive very soon. I know it's low-key currently but just give it time, with the kind of great men and women who are members and moderators, I am sure that it's just a matter of time.

The community has really done so much in 2023, but much more is required this year if the community must advance and be better off than it was. In that regard, double of whatever used to be done would be needed. The community needs to sit and reflect on its previous achievements, both successes, and failures, so that it will know where it is lacking, where it has gotten it right, things that need to be done away with, and things that need to be added.

What kind of prompts would I love to see here?

I have been pondering about this question ever since I saw this prompt and different things have just been popping up in my head. I have traveled through a few communities on the chain and I saw a myriad of amazing prompts, and I almost wanted to say, why don't we go with nonfiction prompts like the rest? then, I checked the title of the community, earn, spend, give and I was like no! Those kinds of prompts are amazing but they won't fit here.

What kind of prompts may do then

I think a solution providing prompts will do. What do I mean by solution-providing prompts? This community is a community that wants to empower people financially and also teach them how to go about whatever they earn. So, prompts that will open our eyes to various opportunities to earn both offline and online will help but they should be something an average person can also relate with.

I believe that there are so many people in this community with diverse skills and information on how to make money. If prompts like this are raised, people like that might be gingered to share their ideas which will be of great help to some of us. There are many potentials hidden in us that we might not know until it is been triggered.

Also, prompts on judicious spending will do a lot. I believe this community is not just a place to write posts, earn coins, and leave but it's a place of making as well, prompts that will transform our lives such that even if we are no longer on this platform, we can trace part of our success to this place.

Our people believe that, instead of giving someone a fish, teach the person how to fish and the person will not only stop being a burden to you but will as well be a source of blessing to others. I think if this community focuses more on how to teach its members how to get the fish for themselves by giving them thought-provoking prompts on how to earn, spend, and give, the community will achieve its goals faster than expected.

Should we make the community larger?

Yes, of course, I think it will be more fun having others join us. Imagine the kind of great men and women who will join us, there would be more ideas popping up from every angle and so on.

Although I know it's going add more cost, more coins will be given out and it's going to drain you but since the community was founded to reach out to people, especially those in need, I think making others join us is going to give room to reach that kind of people easily.

Will everyone get supported?

Well, I can't tell but it's not always about what we earn, I believe some people wouldn't mind even whether they get upvotes or not, if they find this place convenient, they will always come around. Moreover, getting upvotes isn't always guaranteed on Hive.

Sometimes we write to express our feelings with the hope that our experience might help someone out there and not necessarily to get any reward. Other times to build ourselves. Although I know it's sweet when rewards are attached, we pray that God will always make provisions for rewards available. But for now, let's go one step at a time. with rewards or no rewards, let's create awareness for others to join us.
