Life Without Friends

Having friends is a blessing, some friends are like family, they always come through, especially when the world seems to turn its back on us.

I won't lie, the presence of friends in my life has contributed a lot towards my growth both positively and negatively.

Some of the experiences I have today that have shaped me to whom I am came from friends.

To this prompt, is it possible to be happy without the presence of good friends?

My answer is yes, the truth is with or without friends and even family, we can be very happy and still enjoy life. Happiness is first of all choice, it doesn't necessarily depend on people, material things or achievements.

I am someone who loves solitude, and from experience, I can say that my life has been fine even when no friend was around.

How will life be without the presence of good friends?

Seriously, this is a very sensitive question. Sometimes friends can be very annoying, friends will give you experiences that will make you wish that you never had them in the first place but can we really do without them?

At first I didn't get this question right, I had to check the prompt description again and It took me some time to ponder over this.

There are two kinds of friends in the life of everyone, the good ones and the bad ones. The good ones build us while the bad ones do the opposite.

In my life, I can't appreciate God enough for the kind of friends he gave me. I am talking about the good ones. To be frank I can trace half of my growth in life to them.

Sometimes when I am faced with challenges, they are the ones I first run to and they give me counsel that works, though not all the time.

As individuals there are things that we can't share with any of our family members but friends and not just any friends but those you trust.

Checking all these, seriously, living without good friends is going to be very difficult for me. It will just be like cutting me away from my family because I see my good friends as my second family.

They are just like my backbone, they always stand by me in all situations, when I am bored they come through, when I am down they come through with motivation and ensure that I am standing.

Even financially, they come through for me. I can't count how many times my friends give me financial advice, send me money and also share opportunities with me.

When it comes to relationships, they are also there, they ensure that things are working for me and when they sense threats with anyone I am in love with, they don't hesitate to caution me.

Life without good friends would be hell for a lot of us, especially my own friends ah, those guys are my half piece, I can't imagine life without them, even though life is so unpredictable anything can happen and separation can occur, but if it is within my power, I would love to have my friends even in the next life.
