Nothing is sweet like verifying for yourself something you've read and heard about a million times, the result will boost your faith and shatter the shackles of unbelief in your heart.
Right from childhood one country I have always wanted to visit was Israel. A lot of people from my place, especially our spiritual leaders, were privileged to go for Pilgrimage there and they came back with amazing reports.
Oh, one may say my desire to see the country was born from what people say about it, well that's not entirely true. One basic reason why I want to see Israel is because it's the place where Christianity started.
Being a Christian, I desire to see some of those things I read from my Bible, I want to visit some of the places those events occured. Sometimes, our faith needs to be seen to be more effective.
Israel has a complicated history, from the Bible, different cultures, and different empires came into the land when the original inhabitants rebelled against God and some of the original inhabitants were even carried away to other lands.
According to research, modern Israel was created in the year 1948 after the British mandate for Palestine ended.
It is a small country with approximately 22,000 square kilometers in size, it borders Syria, Lebanon, Egypt Jordan. The temperature is characterized by summers and mild winters.
The country is known for technological innovations, tourism and agriculture. Israel's culture is a mixture of jewish heritage, middle eastern tradition and influence from immigrants. The official language of the country is Hebrew.
There are different places to visit in the country, some of which are: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Dead sea, Haifa. All these are amazing places full of beauty for one to behold.
If I were to visit Israel today, one place I would love to visit is Jerusalem, the capital city. It is one of the most talked about cities in Israel, people who traveled there before always talk more about Jerusalem than other cities.
Jerusalem is one of the oldest cities in the world, it has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. It is a place that just refused to fall.
The first temple in Israel was built there by Solomon and it became the major religious Centre in the land.
There are so many things I admire about Israel but the one that stood out for me is the innovative spirit of the nation. Israel is one of the leading countries in cyber security, autonomous driving and artificial intelligence.
I am Someone who is obsessed with technology and has great passion to learn if I have the privilege.
Israel is also known for its ability to adapt and thrive even in terrible situations by looking for a way out through creativity.
This is the kind of place I think everyone should desire to live in, if not for anything but to learn how to survive. Life is never a bed of roses, we need to learn how to toughen up and also how to create solutions to walk out of our situations for good.
If I have the opportunity to live in Israel, I wouldn't hesitate to take it. It's a place I have loved since childhood.
Going to Israel is not my only wish, I mostly wish I was from there 😂😂
Hehheh, well, it wasn't by mistake that you are from wherever you are.
I pray you have the privilege to visit your dream country someday.
