How I Balance Work And Physical Well-being

Sometimes work can be so demanding, taking our time and attention so much that trying to create time for our health becomes like a distraction.
Some people work from morning till night, having just a little time to care for themselves. There was a time in my life when I worked so much that some days I forgot to eat and even take a bath.
I was just focused on how to make money. During that period, the money was there, but physically and mentally, I was drained. I had to draw the line.
The truth is, you won't blame people for not balancing work and their health. We live in a society where demands are ever-increasing, and bills and responsibilities are always adding up.
The cost of living is becoming too high for the average man, and it's so frustrating. In order to cope, one just has to go the extra mile.
However, we must also understand that health is wealth, no matter how much we desire to make ends meet; if our health is faulty, everything would be on hold.
But many people get it wrong; some focus more on health, neglecting work, and giving all kinds of excuses to avoid certain tasks that would have elevated them.
While others focus too much on work, leaving their health to suffer, which later becomes a problem for them.
Neither of the above is right. There has to be a balance between the two. Both have to be done in such a way that the other won't suffer.
For me, I have just one way of putting everything in balance, and that is by planning both my work life and my health.
In order to avoid missing out on my exercises, I set an alarm for 5 am each morning. Once I wake up, I ensure I do my workouts before preparing for work.
During the day, I have a specific time I eat in the morning and in the afternoon. Unless it is forbidden at work, once it's time, I keep everything aside and eat.
Again, whenever I am tired, I shut down everything and get a little rest in order to avoid breaking down.

After everything, every evening, I go for a long walk; I hardly miss it, unless something very important comes up.
I love my work, and I love money, but without good health, even if I have millions, I won't enjoy it.
Balancing work and health can be very tough; sometimes it looks like a punishment, but it's necessary, and for one to keep up, one needs discipline.
