Exploring Wildlife, The Adventure I Would Love To Embark On

Going on an adventure sounds cool, I have always wanted to take myself out to new places and discover new things. Sometimes I get tired of reading and watching some things on television. I want to be there for myself and have a taste of what some of those things look like.

The other day on Facebook, I saw a picture of Jacob's well-located in northwest Wimberley, Texas, I couldn't just take my eyes off it. That spring is something else. I have a phobia for water but I don't know why I just love this one. Another amazing place is the Atlantic Ocean, the spot where the Bermuda Triangle is.

I have heard so much about these places and I have been wondering how they really look. You know sometimes people exaggerate things and nothing can be more deceptive these days than pictures, I want to be there and see for myself. If not for money and other constraints, I would have already visited some of those places already.

However, if everything should be in place if the money and everything I would need for an adventure would be made available, the place I would love to go to is Yankari Game Reserve in Bauchi Nigeria, to explore the wildlife. My school once went on a one-day excursion there, and the experience was spectacular.

For the first time in my life, I was able to see some wild animals moving about freely in the environment without anyone telling us to run. There was nothing like a cage, it's just the same as the jungle for them, the only difference is that hunting is prohibited around the region and there are rangers there who monitor the animals so that they don't attack visitors if not the place is just like a natural animal Kingdom.

Why this adventure?

I love wildlife so much, I love seeing those adorable creatures surviving on their own. The entire life of wild animals keeps me in awe. One beautiful thing I love about them is their unity, you barely see those wild animals walking alone, they are mostly in groups, and funny enough, they seldom mix up. The lion will always walk with a fellow lion, and a giraffe will always walk with a giraffe and no matter what happens, they don't break the bond between them.

The last time I visited Yankari, we were not allowed to explore certain places, according to them it was late, and most of the dangerous animals do come out at night. I felt so bad, we couldn't see the lions, the leopard, and others.

I wanted to see these creatures on the open field without any restrictions like it used to be in zoos so that I could touch them like I do watch in movies LoL. We almost visited some of the places where lions reside but while we were on our way deep into the woods in the car, a swam of tse tse fly attacked us. According to the rangers, "Some of us wore blue color," naturally the flies are attracted to blue. It was not a nice experience at all, the bites of those flies were something else. We had to abort the journey.

So, if I had the opportunity, I would love to go back there and go deep into the woods, I want to explore, I heard the place has been a natural dwelling place for animals for a long, but the government just chose to take control of it to preserve wildlife due to the excess hunting in order to prevent some animals from going into extinction.

I would go so deep into the woods with at least two rangers because they know the place very well and also how the animals behave. Something keeps telling me that wild animals are not just unfriendly, they attack only when they perceive a threat because they are also scared like humans. spending time with them in that bush will give me some knowledge about them.

I would definitely take a lot of pictures and make some videos, and if I were permitted, I would camp in the woods, So that at night I can have the opportunity to see most of the animals because some of them mostly come out at night.

Who knows during my escapade, I might even be able to discover animals that the world doesn't know about. You know anything is possible hehe

You sound like a really daring person! As much as I love to explore nature, animals just scare me so much, all of them🥹 I will really love to take their pictures though, but only from afar. Thank God zoom lenses exists😌

You would camp there? Oh God😭

Hehhe, I am also scared too but sometimes I don't know where the fear use to go to. At times I use to feel those animals aren't as scary as we paint them in our hearts. Don't worry when I am going for the adventure, I won't forget to carry you along. I would love to see you running 🤣🤣

We all like this kind of adventure where we get to see different kinds of animals that are our favorite but here we all have to be very careful.

That's the truth, inasmuch as we want to explore the wildlife, caution needs to be carried along, those animals can be so dangerous at times.

You are surely preparing for a great adventure. Walking in the woods and discovering new animals sounds interesting. It's nice to read that you visited Yankari sometime ago, did any one explain the attachment of those insects to blue colour? Nice sharing.

When I was working in Gabon many years ago, me a few colleagues went boating/camping in the jungle and got totally lost.

A fluffing adventure full of wildlife it was!
