Do I Really Need A Clone?
I am not surprised whenever I hear that people look alike even though they are not related by blood. Come to think of it, we were made by the same creator, the possibility should be high.
Normally, products manufactured by the same company often have similar qualities and most times look alike.
I have watched some movies about human cloning and i can't deny that it has its advantages. It is just like having two lives, and the original becomes like a god.
That is quite amazing, the original can just decide to hide somewhere, allowing the clone version to do all his assignments. This sounds like the rest man has been looking for so long. However, the cloned version automatically becomes like a robot.
If I am given an opportunity, to get cloned, I won't take it. I know that I will have the opportunity to rest, I will be secured, and be like a boss but to what end?
How does having a second me change anything about me? The person might behave like me, talk like me, and do certain things like me but let's tell ourselves the truth, that person is not me and no matter how close our traits are, I will always be me and the person will be himself.
Identical twins look alike and behave similarly but in the end, each of them have different purpose to fulfill in life, they may talk alike behave like each other, but it's two different people that have different things to contribute to their generation.
Unless it's for security purpose or something crucial, I don't see the need to clone myself. Imagine, instead of my clone pursuing his destiny and fulfilling purpose, he would be tied to trying to serve me and fulfill my purpose.
Isn't that like a loss on his end already? In the end, whatever reason for which I clone, at a point I will no longer see the need, so what now happens to the clone? Unless it's some kind of robot I use, I am sure the person would feel cheated and that won't be nice.

I agree with you in a way that unless is for security reasons. But come to think of it, won't you like to see the exact way you look? Sometimes I imagine what exactly I look like, even when I look at the mirror, it doesn't give me what I need. Maybe having someone who is exactly me standing in front of me with give me that joy that I crave for.
