YouTube? Nah, MeTube.
At this point, I feel like they should change the name from YouTube to MeTube because that would be the only way to explain why I've been spending so much time on it lately.
For someone that love visuals so much,it won't be surprising that a lot of apps I enjoy using are mostly the ones with the visuals. I might forget one or two things been said to me but if I see a million things with my eyes I hardly ever forget.
I love when I see things with my own eyes and whatever helps me achieve that instantly becomes one of my favourite things. Talking about apps that are my favourite, the one that tops the list is YouTube as tou already know. It's funny how I used to overlook the app untill quite recently. I always ask myself, 'why do I need YouTube when I have other apps like TikTok and the rest ?' In fact, now I know it was disrespectful even comparing the two because, even though they offer different level of entertainment and information, one of them is just goated for real.
One of the many things I love about YouTube is how much information you can find there. It's like a place where everyone around the world just go to dump whatever informion they have and people can just assess it whenever they like. They is literally nothing you wouldn't see on YouTube. Just recently I saw a video about how to drink water, it was really crazy that someone sat down and though,oh I should teach people how to drink water, because maybe they don't even know it,or they've been drinking it the wrong way'. And you know the funniest part, the video got millions of views because of course people are going to be curious to know if they've been drinking water the wrong way so they just have to watch and probably unlearn.
Personally,I love learning new things and just gathering as much information as I could. Not that I might need it at that moment but I always have the thought that what I know now can actually help me in the future so I try to find out things. A lot of times, I also practice. I mean if you find out that there's a new way to do a particular thing, you'll want to experiment and see if it works right? Exactly. Like I said there are lots of videos on YouTube that helps me know just about anything, from the DIYs, to the kitchen hacks, to the life tips and other useful things
For a student developer like myself,I don't know what would have been my story if there wasn't anything like YouTube. If you have been a newbie at any point in your life, youllunderstand that you need to gather as much information as you can from other people who have been in the field for quite some time. I go on YouTube a lot to watch tutorials, coding tutorials to be precise. It's a very effective way of studying and also when there are topics I don't understand so much in class, YouTube is my backbone. I never go wrong with it. One of the amazing things about it is that, the professionals who help with the tutorials are so many . All of them teach according to the depth of their knowledge but with different methods. Some go in deep, while others give you the simplest of terms. So it's okay if you still don't understand, they are thousand of videos too that will help you learn the same thing.
The fact that I can also learn a lot of things without even paying to get the knowledge is another bonus. All it takes is just a smart phone, internet connection and I'm good to go. YouTube is just a place to explore,to have fun, to get entertained and be happy. There's no way I'm ever trading YouTube for any other app when it comes to learning. It's just ideal for anyone is generally curious about learning.
