Life is Hard

I will forever be grateful to my parents for my childhood. It was filled with love, stability, and deliberate efforts at instilling virtues in us (the children). Knowing fully well that it was not perfect, it was enough to sufficiently blindside me to some of the harsher realities that continually define my adult years.
The Problems Never End
For many of us life is a complex web of unending problems. Granted we can celebrate major accomplishments and even minor victories, but for the most parts, majority of us don't quite finish what seems like an unending game constantly reinventing itself on a daily basis.
I have stopped wishing for all my problems to go away, as it is a rather childish and naive imagination. Instead everyday I show up and I literally talk summon all the strength needed to win the battle for the day. Some days are better than others, but everyday I don't lose it completely is considered a win in my books.
People are People
One thing I can say about us humans generally is that we generally look out for our self interests. Sometimes the end result might be serving dual interests if we're lucky. We should be careful not to overtly fault those who willingly admit to this action as even the best of us do so subconsciously. This doesn't make anyone good or bad, and understanding this helps us manage our expectations from others.
Don't Ever Quit
The one thing we cannot do in the rat race is to stop running, no matter how we feel about it. I've been tested mentally and emotionally the last year and a half, but everyday begins with yet another resolve to successfully make my escape from the over complexities of life. Living may be complex, but it can also be very satisfying for those who successfully navigates its maze of obstacles.
