Fan of Cheap Thrills

I have always hated loud noises, which is why clubs have never appealed to me. I've just never gotten the lure. People can barely hear themselves and are probably left with no other options but drinking and dancing. There's also the set of men who find it thrilling to waste a ton of money on their 'personal entertainment'. This is especially true for celebrity who carry around an entourage of people.

Yet the lure of a quiet conversation is something that I cannot easily overlook. The opportunity to be free with a group, and express one's feelings is of course a privilege. The chance at child like, heartfelt laughter is something that cannot simply be replaced by alcohol or any other intoxicant. It cannot necessarily be recreated with tons of money either, even though money certainly goes a long way in influencing the mood and actions of others.

Maybe am a boring person. However the older I get the more homely I feel in my own skin. The more I appreciate simple yet constant things in life like my family, friends, colleagues and my bed. I've never been the wild type to begin with, but I've certainly evolved into a more refined version as I've aged. I just think it is very possible to have as much fun and create memories without the extra burden of too much spent.
