Compound Your Miracle

I was doing a bit of daydreaming yesterday as I calculated by savings goals for 2025. I started out late but am determined to finish strong. So far, it has been relatively according to plan with very few deviations. Should I succeed it will be the first time since 2022 I have met my savings target.

It has by no means been easy and has required quite a bit of discipline. One thing I quickly started when I decided to begin saving aggressively in June was to record my spending in an excel sheet. Prior to this I just took mental notes. It has made me extra conscious of where my money flows with periodic reflections and interventions if need be.

I have also reflected on how much of an impact savings compounded through the years would have been like for me. There is no doubt that capital us King in Today's World, and regardless of our dreams, being liquid helps us with buffers that enables us actively pursue whatever goals we line up. The bigger the capital, the more possibilities open up to what we can accomplish.

Of course that is all water under the bridge. There is never a late period to keep something aside for when the rains come. I'm not a heavy spender, as household items and ornaments are my most significant spending's this year. I am also not a heavy giver, but I will try to help those who actively need my assistance.

Compounding is a delicate balancing act, but the rewards are pretty significant if we have the consistency and discipline to compound over the course of time. Just look at some Hive accounts for example.
