AI and You

I see at an increasing rate younger people turning to AI for day to day life advice. I've always known that AI would pose a threat to the self appointed lifestyle coaches, motivational speakers and even educators but perhaps I didn't give it the deserving credit for how much influence it is bound to have.
Imagine someone uploading all her chats with her boyfriend and asking AI for advice on how to proceed. Also imagine AI taking the role of a full blown mentor and sourcing life advice from trillions of solid information all over the web for it's students who are all too willing to utilise it. Knowing fully well that it comes in more equipped information wise than the smartest human, there certainly is a lot of concern about mass adoption going forward.
I am a bit concerned about the social side of things. Does AI signal even more strain on human interaction? We have seen what social media has done in extreme cases. While it did open us to a global audience, it certainly brought a new wave of online addiction where people stayed glued to their screens rather than have physical interactions. You get the feeling that AI runs differently than normal social media, so there is at least room for benefit of doubt.
I think AI could be a solution for loneliness but am not quite sure how great of a solution it really is. Maybe for elderly people, but for younger persons human interactions shouldn't die because of AI. As the technology improves we'll see just how much of a net positive or negative it truly is.
I really do not think extroverted people are going to swap interactions to AI, but us introverted... we just might do that.
