Unforgettable memories of my lifetime

Greetings everyone, hello throwback Thursday hive community, I hope everyone here is doing fine and good. This is my first time of posting in this hive community and I promise to abide by the rules and regulations and make sure I've done my best for the growth of the community and promote the community at large. I will be talking about my secondary school days experience, love feast memory and childhood memories.

Here is me, my elder sister Blessing and my cousin brother Meshach. I can't remember when we snapped this picture but each time I looked at the picture it gives me joy and I wish I could turn back the hands of times. My elder sister was literally like my second mother, she loves me and took care of me like am her son.
Most of the time while growing up as a child, my elder sister usually the one bathing me, choosing my dresses and clothing me and even taking me to school. My cousin brother stayed with us for a long time, I can't really remembered how long or how many years but we grew up together like twins. We were going to the same school and almost wearing clothes together. Like, we shared our clothes, even shoes because we had the same shoe size. He loves watching people playing basketball while I enjoyed people playing football. I remembered when we were growing up, each time my cousin brother and I had a fight or misunderstanding my elder sister will come and beat us and we will cried our tears out. Later on, she will beg us and give us food or biscuits then we will be happy with her. My mother is a teacher , teaching in a different town but usually comes back home late in the afternoon when we have gone to our own school and must have come back home already. Most of the time if we had issue especially with our elder sister or she got us angry, my brother and I will wait till when our mother comes back we will go and tell our mother everything that our elder sister had done to us.

Then my mother will laughed and said my elder is our second mother, that we should respect her and do everything she asked us to do if not she will continue to beat us if we misbehave. Having a loving and an elder sister that took care of us is such an honored during my childhood days. Me and my brother at times used to leave our own room and sleep with our elder sister in her room and my mother will say nothing. My mother loves the kind of bond we had with our elder sister and because of that we ease her of some stress and complaints. Most of the things my mother does is to make sure food is available and everything we needs is been provided. And after doing all of such, she will give my elder sister the permission to do everything while she is away from home. It was such a lovely memory I could recovered.

This particular picture was taken outside the church some years back when we were doing youth loves feast. I am a member of Evangelical Reform Church of Christ, that's ERCC church. And in our church the youths usually organized weekly and monthly activities and love feast is one of the important one among them. Love feast is a program where all the youths will cook different kinds of food, cultural and traditional food and bring it to the church. Those who picked and exchanged names will buy gifts for the person they have picked their names. When we all gather, we will do the love feast program of the day, it is a wonderful program I will not forget.
During the program after singing and dancing, debate and so on, they will call your name and you will come out from the congregations and call out the person you have picked his or her name and present your gifts to the person and wait for who have picked your name to present their gift to you.

This special gift was presented to me by a brother named Timothy, I remember it was an Adidas jersey. When I collected it and got home I open it and saw the gift I was so excited and happy. I remembered I have wear that adidas jersey for a long time and using it to be going to football field with it. It was indeed an experienced I cannot forget. The man in-between was the youths coordinator, he was the person to hold the gift with you while presenting to another person.

This is me and my best friends during our secondary school days, precisely during our last semester third term SS Two exams at Government Secondary School Fanda Wate, Kaduna State Nigeria. We were so closed and we the men stayed in the same room all of us. It was so funny that two of us are science students while the one by the left side is an art student. We used to argued a lot during those days about science is better than art and he being the only art student in our room will opposed us and argue and agued but of course we will overpowered him because he is the only person bringing out points. Those days were one of the best days of my life. The other lady her name is Esther, she is also a science student and she's our friend. After class we the men will go the river to be fishing and most times of a truth we will catch fishes and bring it home and cook . We don't sell our fishes like other guys do, ours we will cook it and kept some in the fire to dry. Remembering those days make me happy that I had happy memories in my secondary school days.

This lady Esther is very close to me than the other two guys. Esther used to cook food from her house and bring it for me because she had a crush on me and I liked her too.
At night we used to sit outside and talked for a long time about each other plans for the future and dreams. We will gist and share each other experiences and thoughts together. Those two guys knew Esther and I had something strong going and they used to tease me everytime Esther is not around. That I am a lover boy and I will marry Esther after our graduation from secondary school but I will tell them I will not marry at that early stage of my life.

I will tell them I will like to further my education to obtain a higher certificate and have a well paying job and make sure am settled financially and mentally before thinking of marriage. We will all laughed and laughed out loud. It was such a beautiful moments I cannot forget in my entire lifetime.
