THE JOURNEY TO A SUCCESSFUL LIFE IS TOUGH AND DIFFICULT.

I have seen some successful people and have asked few of them I was opportunity to talk with how they managed their life and work experience to reach or obtain this financial breakthrough or level and become what they are now currently. Because I have tried hustling and engaging in some hard works and principles I thought I knew but it seems is not working for me. I have saved money daily, weekly and monthly but at the end something will happen and the money I have saved for a whole month will just vanished while trying to solve that particular problem. I have joined the monthly contribution groups for monthly contribution of 5 thousand naira. I paid for ony two months and I stopped. I couldn't continue with it anymore because before month ends I would not be able to realized 5 thousand naira to pay.

Seems like everyday different problems keeps coming my way with lots of challenges and temptation that keeps taking the little savings I have been keeping. At times I felt like the moment I gather small amount of money that's when a problem will come that needs to be solved and I will carry the money I have saved and solved the problem. To me saving money for a whole month without tempering with it seems impossible. Even the monthly job am doing the moment I got paid at end month I will need to buy food stuffs, refill my gas and buy soap and few things, before I know the salary will finish . Working and being independent is not easy for me, everything I need needs money to be bought with or got it done.

I kept asking some people who have gone far and seems they are doing well though some are working in a bigger companies or organization while others are working in a standard and bigger facilities that the government are paying them well. Not like some of us that are working with private facility or private schools as a teacher and earning just little amount of money as salary. One day I met one of my uncle's old school friend who came to our house how he managed and have come this far to be stable financially and how he overcame challenges while starting. He looked at me and smiled, said to me my brother Emmanuel, he remembered when he was starting, the journey was tough and hard to an extent some of his friends or people they started together at that time gave up after failed so many times.

He remembered sleeping for two days without eating a good meal, only drinking pure water and eating bread as both breakfast and dinner before going to bed for weeks. But he never give up despite all the pains and struggles and challenges those those. He kept pushing hard and continue with the hustling activities daily, weekly and monthly as years gone by . He told me there are so many things he wanted at that time but he sacrificed to turn his eyes away from them just to keep his mind and heart focus ahead on achieving the goals he has set ahead for himself. He said there were times he started getting money small small even though he doesn't have good and quality clothes back then he will invest the money instead of buying designer clothes. That all those designer clothes, shoes and wrist watch are expensive and he can buy some with the savings he had but he will invest it and get more profit from the money instead of buying what won't be profitable to him.

He further said when it comes to food he doesn't play with it. He said mostly food is the only thing he put more attention to it that time while he was struggling. He doesn't care how he looks and dress while going out to his place of work or an occasion but as long as he has food at home or working place to eat that's fine by him. And most important thing he said to me is that he doesn't keep his money in the bank or home or anywhere that will not generate a profit to him. What is the essence of having money and keeping them in the bank or keeping it at home and for months or even a year you will still have the same amount you have saved. He said instead of saving your money in the bank or at home is better to invest it or put it somewhere it will give you more profit at the end. Even though problems do come but he often use the main money to solve the problems while the profit will still be invested in order to make more profit from it again. I knew I was lacking this principle, I thought saving money in the bank without spending it is something good but is not generating any profit.

The last thing he said to me is that not everyone that asked you to borrow them money you will hastily do because you have it. Is not everyone or all people that will pay back the money they have borrowed from you. So, the more you borrow or lend out money to other people and they were not able to pay you back your money is bankrupting because of unpaid debts and is dragging you down and backwards instead of going forward. Lending out money to people who needs your help is not a bad thing but one needs to be careful because some people won't come to you if they don't need your help and if you might have helped them you will never see them again or your money as well. Don't be intimidated now that your friends or people around you are buying designer clothes, shoes and wrist watch and expensive phones , I know you need them too in this life but you're still struggling and hustling to make a fruitful life in the future for yourself.

Invest your money and work hard to get stability. When times comes after you've gained stability and capacity financially you can buy whatever kind of designer clothes, shoes and wrist watch you want but wait untill then , now invest and stay focus don't allow such things carry you away and make you lose focus. You will never amount to a reasonable financial stable life if whatever your eyes sees you want to buy it or have it.

The more you spend money without getting a profit the more you lose money. And when it comes to investment be very careful with the kind of investment you want to do. Make sure the investment is legit and trustworthy. Don't invest your hard earned money in anyhow investment that will later crash and make you lose your money woefully. After I have heard all this things from him and have heard his journey experience I learned new principles and decided to put them into practice and hopefully it will yield a good outcome for me as well.

The journey to the top or financial breakthrough might be tough and challenges but never give up. Keep working hard and investing well in a proper way and keeps the dreams and hope alive that one day your dream will come to fulfilment as some people have passed through and now enjoying the fruits of the labour, you too will pass through the difficult and challenges experience and enjoy the fruit of your labour someday also.
