Strange Similarities between my father and I.

As a little child then, I saw my father did a lot of things and as I grew I began doing it unknowingly or unintentionally. Like doing most of the exact things my father has done in the past and I found myself doing it. I will share little of the similarities between my father and I.

1.Singing. My father was a singer, even though he doesn't sing much these days because of old age. I used to watch my father singing and dancing in the church while I was a child. My Dad will composed a song and teach us during morning devotion. Literally my father have a song for every circumstances. If we are sad he will sing a sad song to comfort us and when we are happy, a happy song he will sing for us. To an extent I became very familiar to most of the songs and I will be singing some of this songs word by words and anywhere I make mistakes he will correct me and tell me the right word of that particular song. Now am a grown up person and I can sing as well.

2.Playing bass guitar. He played bass guitar very well. I remembered while growing up seeing my father playing bass guitar in the church with joy and passion in his heart and that has impacted me so well that as I grew up I developed passion to learn bass guitar and I can play it now even though not perfect.

3.Playing of Football. He once told us his story while he was growing up he played football very well. He represented his school in a LGA level and won an award of being the best player that year. He was the game prefect during his primary and secondary school days. The same happened to me, I was the game prefect during my primary school days and I represented my school in an interschools competition and became the best scorer of the competition with the scores of 3 goals in a complete tournament.

4.My Dad is an animal scientist while am a medical laboratory technician. My Dad loves animals and always want to see them living in good condition because of the nature of his work. He takes care of animals with so much care especially our two dogs at home, he take care of them like human being. He will make sure he treat them well whenever the animals are sick and administer proper medication for them. I graduated from college of health and became a medical laboratory technician. Running proper diagnosis and taking care of patients and helping them getting better or recover from their illness is something that gives me joy.

5.My Dad has an empathetic heart. My Dad can go extra miles if he doesn't have money to an extent of borrowing money to lend someone who is seriously in need. He loves seeing people are happy and encouraged happy home at the times.

6.My Dad is an educational person. My Dad doesn't like to see any child or youths that's not going to school or leaning any skills . He doesn't encourage staying idle . I grew up and I have desires for academic so much. Always crying each time I was send out from the class because I couldn't pay my school fees. Even after I graduated from college of health I still have passion to further my education by acquiring a degree or master certificate.

7.My Dad loves travelling/adventures. He traveled to different places for programs and seminar and he will tell us story of what he saw in those places. I love traveling too even though I've not been to many different places yet I know for sure I will go to those places.
