My dreams, my vision, my passion.

I have had dreams and visions about some certain things to achieve in life. I have achieved some while other am still still working hard, trusting God to achieve it someday God's willing. My dreams is to become a medical personnel, to help and treat people getting their health whenever they are sick. While growing up the dream of becoming a medical personnel was in my mind, and I have went to college of health keffi Nasarawa state and have graduated as a medical laboratory technician.

Working in a hospital, doing diagnosis for people and figuring out the disease and problems in their body and providing solutions to their health challenge is something that keeps me joy.

My dream of becoming a keyboardist. I remembered seeing some people playing keyboards in the church or programs often gives me joy. The sounds of keyboards stir my spirit up and make me feel happy and satisfied even if am hungry. There's something about keyboard I can not explain, the sounds that comes out from it, the melody and rhyme behind keyboards gives me strength and increase my morals.

I desired to learn how to play keyboard and have decided to do it with my life and strength. I got myself into an online class, person to person class and I have read books or PDF about keyboards. Finally today, I can play keyboard even though not very much as experts but with the little knowledge I had on keyboard I used it wisely.

Any opportunity I had to play keyboard in the church, other events programs or weddings, I will make sure I put my best . I never take any opportunities given to me to play keyboard for granted. And most important thing about me while playing keyboards is this, I played keyboard not just for other people to feel the melody or the sweetness of the sounds but for myself as well.

I played it for myself also, to keep my spirit and emotion alive, to feel the melody of what am playing myself. Today, I can boldly say I have find myself fulfilling the dream and vision of me becoming a keyboardist gradually and am striving for the better version of myself as an expert keyboardist God's willing.

This particular picture was my father and I when I was a child. According to my father, that everytime he took me to band rehearsal I will just walk to the drum area and focus on the drum set and being wanted to touch the drum set. He knows I like drum perhaps when I grow up I will become a drummer. Drum was really the first instrument I have learned when I joined the music band.

I had passion to learn drum and spoke to my music director about my passion for drum and he asked the drummer to teach me in his pleasurable time. The drummer agreed to teach me and set some days for our drumming rehearsals and being meeting in the church for drum classes. He taught me skills on drum and eventually as times goes by I started playing drum. At time, after I closed from school, I will branch to our church with my school uniform and practice the skills I have been taught on drum. Then I was in secondary school. I will play drum till evening before going home.

I also had a small phone with earpiece back then while learning drum. I will play some songs and beats and insert the earpiece in my ear and been practicing the beats and other drum stills as well. That's how I got to learn how to play drum. Drum is one of the instrument that motivate and stir congregations to dance very well in the church or any programs at all. Playing drum is very sweet, you need more energy to be able to play drum for long because you will play drum and all your whole body will be sweating.

Playing of bass guitar or acoustic guitar. Well nobody really sat me down and taught me on classes on how to play bass or acoustic guitar. I learnt how to play bass guitar myself. I noticed whenever am playing drum the bass guitarist give me strong morals to play drum more and better. There's a connection between drum and bass guitar.

The drum beats go hand in hand with the bass guitar. Knowing all of these I decided to learn how to play bass guitar. I went and borrowed acoustic guitar from a band member who left the guitar in his room for long without playing because he went to school. That's how I started learning how to play bass guitar and I keeps watching videos online to increase my knowledge about it more and better ideas kept coming my mind on how to play bass guitar. I'm not too good on bass guitar yet but I can play some keys and chords progression I have learned.

Blowing or playing trumpet. This particular instrument I find myself showing interest recently or few weeks ago. The whole of my church band members no one could play or blow trumpet. I noticed other church bands who play trumpet during their ministration is topnotch and beautiful each time we went out for convention or church programs or music concerts. Therefore, I developed passion and shows interest in learning trumpets for myself, my church band and other possible reasons or opportunities that might have come along if I can play trumpet.

This picture is me holding trumpet some many years ago even though I don't know how to play trumpet then. But look at me now so passionate about learning trumpets. Nobody have trumpet in my church and I want to learn how to play trumpet. So, I had to visit other church nearby that uses trumpets and join them in order to learn how to blow trumpet. Later on I decided to join the Boys Brigade of ERCC Bethel Land Agwa kpadom Akwanga Nasarawa State. The church is about 9 kilometers away from my place. Everyday of their boys brigade band rehearsal day I will visit them and participate with them together.

The officers incharge put me in the beginners stage and started teaching and showing me the basic and necessary things I need to know about trumpet before teaching me how to play it. Now I can play trumpet little, though am presently learning it so I don't know how to play it very well like other instruments I have learned.

Therefore, I noticed everything about music, singing , playing instruments and working in the hospitals is what makes me happy and excited. Am in love with music, singing and playing instruments and working in hospitals. I can do anyone of this things without complaint or getting tired easily.

Singing, this is the most important thing I am so passionate about in my entire life. I love singing songs, precisely gospel songs. I could play songs and stay indoors for hours in my room learning and singing them. I join our church band and I fellowship with the band, to learn different skills from other good singers.

I was previlegde to be invited as a guest minister to some churches to minister over the past 3 years ago. I'm still striving to learn how to sing more , mingle with those people that are very good in singing and those who had been in the music ministry for years already. I have came to realization that instruments gives me joy even though I don't know how to play it or I do played them but the sounds coming out from any instruments strengthen my spirit and energized my inner soul. Music and becoming a health personnel becomes my dreams, my vision and my passion in this life.
