Mrs Williams Janet Shared With Me How She Married For 7 Years Without Conceiving A Child When She Came To The Facility Today With Her Twins For Immunization

Mrs Williams Janet, from ogba community of Nasarawa Eggon LGA, just a nearby community few kilometers away from my own community came to our facility today, along with her two adorable children (twins). The twins names are Samuel and Simeon. They kids are looking healthy and their weigh is 13kg if am not mistaken. The mother brought them to the facility for immunization of three months old. I was working in the laboratory as a laboratory personnel as usual while the immunization was happening at the GOPD by the nurses and the director of the facility attending the pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and their children. I was hearing people talking outside and making some happy moments and I thought perhaps today immunization program has gotten a lot of women. When I was done working in the laboratory I decided to come outside and see the numbers of women that came for antennatal and immunization today since there is no any work for me in the laboratory anymore.

I came outside and saw this particular woman holding her beautiful children (twins) seating on a plastic chair. I looked at the woman and the twin and I admired them from a distance because naturally I loves twin so much. I have been praying and wishes that when I get married, my wife should give birth to twins. It doesn't matter if the twins are all boys or girls or a boy and a girl. Anyone I will gladly accept provided is twin. And everytime I saw women that gives birth to twins, I used to respect them more and tagged their blessings and expressed my attention and desires for having twins when I married known to them.

I came directly to this woman and greeted her, asked her to let me hold one of my twin since they have already been immunized and she gave me one of the twin. I held the twin called Samuel and I don't even know yet. When I asked the mother of her twins names she told me is Samuel and Simeon and the one am holding is Samuel. I said wow that's awesome, I was holding Samuel which means "prophet ". Being a Christian I have know the story of Samuel in the Bible, where his mother is Hannah and a wife to Elkanal. Where Hannah in the Bible married Elkanal for so many years without having a child and her co-wife peninah will laughed at her, making a mockery out of bareness for her inability to conceive and have children but she had children. As I was telling the mother the Bible story of Samuel the twin I was holding she looked straight to my eyes and said the same thing the woman called Hannah in the bible faced because of inability to conceive and bare a child she also passed through it even though not too long like Hannah in the Bible. The moment I heard her saying such, I sat down and was listening to her story while holding the twin in my arms.

She told me she married and for seven (7) years she couldn't bare a child. Other women and people had laughed at her, some mocked her by calling her beautiful barren woman. She even said some people adviced her husband to take another wife , a second wife that will bare him children since his first wife couldn't give him any child. But the husband doesn't buy the idea or accepted the advice.

That he loves his wife and at the right time she will get pregnant and give him a child. She said if not for the love her husband had for her so much he would have accepted their advice of getting another wife but choose not but to stay with her and because of that he encouraged her and he became her place of comfort and solace each time she felt pained and hurts because of the insult other people might have said at her back or to her front of her inability to conceive a child after seven years of been married. She prayed, attending different hospitals for medical checkups and have taken a lot of medications just so he could conceive and have a child.

But glory to God that this year around June she gave birth to twins, all boys. That's why she and the husband named them Samuel and Simeon because God has remembered their cry and pained and decided to wipe away their tears and shame and even give them double blessings of twins. While I was seating listening to her story, my heart was moved and I felt emotional attachment towards her and the kids. Indeed is good to trust and hope on God in every circumstances, sufferings and pains someone is passing through everyday. This woman married for seven years and was unable to conceive and have a child yet she and her believed with faith that one day they will have a child of their own and today they didn't just have a child but twins, two children.

I felt encouraged and uplifted by hearing her story and experienced. She's now a testament for people to see and read about her life journey. Now people talked about her whenever they see her that she married for seven years without a child but now she has two children. Wow that's beautiful, such a wonderful story to shared to blessed and encouraged other women outside who might be passing through the same experience of childlessness or inability to conceive and have children to believe and have faith in God and trust Him at His time everything will be better for them. After she told me everything, her story almost made me share tears out of my eyes.

I know am a medical personnel and have heard so many touching stories and experience from patients I have come in contact with in different occasions. Being a medical personnel have made me an emotional human being, I can even share tears and cry silently whenever someone or a patient is sharing his or her bad or painful experienced with me in the facility. I was really blessed by her story today and decided it too to bless someone that's reading through right now.
