I woke up this morning with a strange beliefs and very powerful principles for a successful life. I remembered I had a dream last night when I found myself in the military ground. I can't remember every details of the dream I had but all I remembered and cannot forget was that I worn a military uniform. Then when I woke up this morning, I could not be able to get up from the bed for some minutes but lying down in the bed and still thinking and reflecting about the dream I had of me wearing a military uniform.

Four of my male friends have joined miliary after our graduation from the college 2020.
Since then , I have wanted to joined the military too but all efforts seems no to avail. I have applied for Nigeria army, Nigeria air force and Nigeria naval as well. I even applied for parliamilitary forces like Nigeria custom service, Nigeria civil defense, immigration and fire service and Nigeria police yet I couldn't get it. I remembered around 2022 my name was shortlisted for Nigeria air force recruitment and I went to physical screening , pass the physical screening and have gone for CBT exams and even went ahead to the interview and down to the last stage of the recruitment process screening. It was after the medical screening that my name was not shortlisted among the listed candidates going for the six months training. I have cried out my eyes out during those days. I wanted to join military so bad to an extent I didn't see any work interested in my life anymore outside of military. I am a medical personnel, I loves working in the facility, precisely likes working in a laboratory.

But I have loved more to work in a laboratory in a military ground. Seeing and hearing from my friends keeps talking to me and telling me most of the things they see while they're in the military, the kind of attacks, different kind of guns and machines and traveling to different States and countries, near and far states for special duty and routine work used to intimidate and make me feels like a failure in life.

I wasn't too concerned or interested in knowing how much is their salary as a soldiers but all I ever wanted was to be in a military, wearing that military uniform alone is like wining a trophy for me 😂😂😂
It's been 4 years now, since my four friends joined the military and am still struggling and hoping to join someday.

But do you know what kept my belief so strong and me still holding firm to my faith and visions of becoming a military personnel one-day? It's because of my mind, yes sir/ mam. My mind is made up to join the military all this years and despite several application yet not shortlisted I never gave up not for once. I strongly believed one-day, when the day comes my dream of becoming a military personnel will come to fulfilment. There are so many people out there hoping for some particular jobs, due to several attempts they failed and they gave up their dreams for such particular jobs.

It not good to give up in whatever you love so much and wishes to become in life. An old African adage said " For as long as there's life, there's hope" . Yes sir/ mam, as long as you are still living and breathing there is still hope of getting that particular jobs you're hoping to have or achieving those dreams and goals you have always thought of achieving so long you are alive.
Don't just back off yet my dear, keep your belief firm and hold on to your dreams and visions as you keep striving to be there someday as God permit and at His appointed time . This belief was so strong for me in my heart when I woke up this morning. I still believed and with the power of my mind and belief my faith is heathens and strengthen to continue to strive till I reach my destiny someday God's willing 🙌🙌
