MARRIAGE/ WEDDING BRINGS FAMILY TOGETHER

MARRIAGE is a ritual ceremony that is officially celebrated when two or more people decided and agreed to stay together as husband and wife forever till death do them apart after fulfilling legal, religious or traditional rights and their due responsibilities as equal.

Marriages is one of the most important thing that brings family from far and near together to celebrate and have a peaceful gathering of fun and entertainment with each other.

Because of someone's marriage in the family most of the distance families, far and near will come especially for the payment of the bride dowry that belongs to our family side. You will see some people you have never met before as part of your family relations are dragging and claiming the bride's dowry, food items and some money that is listed in the traditional marriage lists of the bride. And definitely after the wedding you will never see such kind of people or family again. Is clear obvious that is because of marriage that brought them together.

Family came around, we eat, we dance and celebrate with joy over our sister that's getting married. It's actually a thing of joy seeing your sister you dearly love so much finally getting marry to the love of her life and about to start a family of her own and her husband.

Here is my mother's elder sister, she came all the way from Kaduna state after so many years of not seeing her, I met her today. I remembered back then when I was a child she used to buy me clothes and shoes and carried me and her daughter Miracle along to her Restaurant in the evening after we closed from school. We will eat and eat to our satisfaction to some point I and her daughter Miracle will played around the restaurant till we felt asleep.

It's funny huh haha. Today I ran and hugged her when I saw her coming from a distance and she kissed me on my forehead and said "my little boy has grown up now" and both of us laughed and walked down to our chairs and sat down in the same place till the wedding is over.

Meet my favorite nephew, Miracle is her name, my mother's elder sister daughter. I am older than her with 3 years even though we look like age mates. We grew up together then before her family relocated to Kaduna state and back then people often call us husband and wife because of our closeness but we are related by blood through our mother's relation.

We met today because of the wedding that took place in the family. She came with her mother, she looks so beautiful when I met her today after so many years of being away from each other. Wedding brought us together and we had so much fun as one big family again remembering the olden days when we were kids. It was fun meeting her today.

Here is my lovely and dear sister the bride with her beloved husband. Officially wedded and ordained as Mr and Mrs Francis Esla Jude. Marriage is a lifetime journey that two people will live together, love each other in sickness and in health, in abundance and in lack and grow old together till death do them apart. I wish them happy and peaceful marriage life. They will give birth to beautiful children and have a lasting happy home.

Finally, I remembered my mother's elder sister told me, my son never rush into getting married because of desperation and intimidation by your friends and colleagues at working place or school because if you rush into marriage that you are not fully prepared for mentality, emotionally, financially and even psychologically you might rush out of marriage because of pains and frustrations if you married a wrong partner.

You mustn't make mistake while thinking about marriage. She advised me and encouraged me about marriage and am grateful for her knowledgeable and inspiring words.

I am not prepared for marriage yet but when I do I will certainly get marry someday and to the perfect and right partner God's willing. I really had fun today, I have seen families I have not for years but because of wedding I have seen some today. Is true that marriage or wedding bring family together.
