Learning and practicing acoustic guitar.

Learning acoustic guitar is one of the instrument that gives me joy each time am playing it. The first time I saw someone played acoustic guitar was few years ago and I remembered I quietly walked closer to the person and sat down and listening to him playing it. I was so excited hearing the sounds that's coming out from the acoustic guitar and sing along with him while he was playing it.

I later told him I want to learn how to play acoustic guitar so I could be singing while playing it. He told me the first thing that I can do to learn it fast was to buy my personal acoustic guitar or if I can borrow someone's own but if I can afford my own acoustic guitar is far better. After that accident happened a friend of mine visited me and came along with his acoustic guitar not knowing that's the particular instrument am eager to learn presently.

I told my friend Godwin to teach me how to play acoustic guitar and he taught me the theory and two major keys, which is key C and G. I was taught how to place my fingers appropriate, which is called fingering. Later on he taught me the full sofa notation of key C and G, which is the Doh, reh ,me ,fah, soh, lah, ti, doh. I could be able to figure it out as soon as possible because I already have the knowledge of sofa notation because of my experience of playing keyboard. I started learning, placing fingering accurately and appropriately as described. I could be able to pitch and strick the acoustic guitar strings.

When I noticed the sounds of the acoustic guitar I was playing started coming out good to my ears, I was so happy and excited. I told myself playing acoustic guitar will bring more experience to my music journey experience. Acoustic guitar doesn't required light or battery before you can play it. One can play it anytime, any day and anywhere you want to play it. Unlike keyboard you need light to plugged into the wire socket to be able to play it or you insert battery in the keyboard pad before playing it. But acoustic guitar is a easy instrument that doesn't required any additional measurements or help before you can play it. Just make sure your acoustic guitar strings are full intact and the strings are well set to give you a beautiful sounds or outputs.

My journey of learning acoustic guitar is becoming better gradually and am improving daily as I began learning other keys like key Bm and F minor. I didn't found this journey very tough because I have someone closed to me that used to put me through everytime we are previlege to meet. You cannot learn acoustic guitar or any instruments by yourself alone. You need someone to be teaching you, showing you both theory and practical, putting you through chords and notes of that particular instrument you are learning.

But it will be tough and difficult for you to learn an instrument by yourself. If you are learning keyboard and nobody is closed by to put you through, you will finds it hard to learn fast. Though social media like YouTube and Facebook videos have helped people to learn and play so many tutorials online. Yet watching those online videos alone without having a physical tutor to teach you and put you through will be hard for you.

I have joined other facebooks and YouTube pages to learn more about acoustic guitar and with the help and support of my friend Godwin who's closeby any video that's hard for me to play I will saved it in my phone and forward it to him, any given opportunity we will meet and he will guide me through on how to play it. Honestly, playing acoustic guitar makes me happy and singing while playing it releases some stress out of me and I used to feel better energy and received good inspiration. I will never take this given opportunity for granted.
