Hivereachout weekly prompt 49>> "The Role Of Parents And Society In Making Children The Leaders Of Tomorrow "

If truly parents and society works together towards making children the future leaders of tomorrow, am sure the children will become visionary and compassionate towards one another and have an effective mindsets about good leadership. I will discuss some of the areas that parents and society if they works together it will make the children a better future leaders of tomorrow.

1.Parents should teach their children about character building. Our parents are the first personalities and role models any child would have. The parents teaches their children how to be honest, responsible and empathy. And parents should teach the children how to build a good character. A lot of children doesn't have good characters because of the kind of association they walked with or gang up with. Parent are their children characters sharpener. And for a child to be a good leader of tomorrow must poses a good character.

2.Encouragement and support the children. Parents should show interest in those things the children are doing or things the children's wants to do most of the times. A good parents nurtures their children talents, make sure the children have sense of confidence in themselves. Parents and society does a major role of nurturing the children skills, talents and help the children build confidence in themselves.

3.Children Education. Making the children to have access to good or quality education will helps them to have a good knowledge of leadership training and for personal growth. Education will gives knowledge, opportunities and skills to a child that need it and once a child have quality education the future is secured because the child will know what it takes to be a leader via completion of his or her education.

4.Guidance. Parent are the first model in life because some of the parents gives their children's listening ears and provide a good mentorship for their children. Parents should guidance to their children each time the children want to do something good for themselves.

5.Society providing community support. Society should offers opportunities for children to expose themselves and mingle with other children in doing the community services and becoming familiar with social and legal responsibilities. Parents and society have the ability to shape the children future, gives those children values, creates opportunity for them and offering guidance everytime they needs it.

6.Teaching the children to become a risk takers. Parent and society should encourage the children to be risk takers, the children should be able to make some hard or difficult decisions on their own and face the consequences if it goes wrong or bad and have a develope confidence in themselves. Most time people especially children are scare of taking a wrong decision and ended up not making any decisions on their own at all. Is better to try and fail than not to try at all. Failure or mistakes are part of life experiences.

If you don't make mistakes or you don't failed you won't have an experience about it. Parent should be able to let the children know is possible to fail, make some wrong decisions in life and as well as is possible to succeed and make a right decision.

7.Development of skills. Parents should allow their children to learn skills they preferred or want to learn for the betterment of their future. Good skills like communication, tailoring, baking of cakes , make-up skills, fashion designer, driving and lot of different skills that at the end it will yield a good results for them.

8.Community empowerment. If societies will foster and encouraged children to venture into youths empowerment, make decisions, learn about leadership training and develop a self confidence in themselves, it will do them a lot of good in the future and their future will be bright.

9.Emotional support. Parents should be able to guide and protect their children emotions each time they noticed any bad behavior from the children. They should teach the children how to team their emotions and channel it properly if not it will cause them problems.

Children listen to their parents advice and opinions more than anyone else, so whatever parents gives a child, that child will become part of it. Children are reflection of what they see or hear from their parents experienced.

As a leader, you must be careful and be able to control your emotions always. Be sensitive to what people said around you and in your presence and be able to have control over your emotions in order not to react angrily or hostile to any person.

10.Compassion and empathy. Showing compassion and being kind to people helps a lot and any little act of kindness can heals a broken heart. Parent should teach their children to be compassionate and be kind towards people and anyone that comes around them and not to give room to any hatred in that heart.

Being hostile towards one another doesn't add anything good at all or doesn't seems good for a good leader. We should be compassionate and be kind towards people and help them in any way we could and be supportive towards one another.

In this way and with all the characteristics listed above if the parents and the society with work together, am sure the children will have a better future and become a good leaders of tomorrow. Hope you've enjoyed reading through.
