In my local church assembly, (ERCC) Evangelical Reformed Church Of Chris, Mount Olive Ubbe Nasarawa State Nigeria, the youth usually organized love feast celebration every end of that year, mostly the love feast will be celebrated before Christmas. The youth of the church has been doing their love feast for a long time now, and it had been happening yearly no matter how difficult things gets, the youth will still celebrate the love feast together as family, friends and church members of one body one christ.

This love feast is a gathering of children, adults and even parents, coming together to sing and dance, pray and thank God for keeping them from January down to December. We will asked to cook different kinds of food and meals , of different languages and tribes and bring it to the church. The church has members and of different languages and tribes inside it. So, when every tribes cooks their traditional food and bring it together, we will all eat it and celebrate together. And not just that, the day has it programs activity stich out for the day, drama, music, dancing and eating and singing competition, exchanging of gifts to your partners and lots of them.

Here we do write our names all together and drop at a table or box , like two months before the main day of the love feast celebration. Anyone that carries or pick any name on that table, the name of the person written on the paper will be your partner for the love feast celebration. And anything, either bags, cloth, shoe, books, ears pod anything at all you can be able to buy for the person you carried his or her name who is your partner will be presented to the person on the love feast day.

If you don't pick a name on the table two months ago, you will not be given a gift either. People that are given gifts are the same people that picked names and gives to other people.

Your name will be call and you will step out to the alter with your gifts in your hand, you will then call the person you've picked his or name who is your partner and present your gift to the person. And anyone that picked your name will also present a gift to you.It's so fun and excited program my local church used to organized by the end of every year during December period.

The youths used to be happy celebrating together, dancing and eating different meals of other tribes that day. This kind of program preaches love and oneness, unity and cares among it members and people.

It's has always used to be an amazing celebration since they started it and till now the program brings joy and happiness to our lives as Youths. The amazing part of this group is some of the gifts you collected from your partners and also gives your partners, everytime you see the person wears it you will be so happy that you bought it for the person on a love feast day.

There's a joy seeing someone wearing the cloth, bags, shoes and even t-shirt you have presented or given him or her as a gifts on a love feast. Is a beautiful program and we will continue to do it continually in Jesus name. Let's preach love and let's share love within us to your ourselves!!
