Thanks @hivenaija for this, it's always feels good when once in a while we take a long walk on our memory lane, maybe the smiles on our faces would have been wider if we could seat somewhere and watch our childhood days play before us on a big screen all the silly, naughty, crazy childish things we do growing up, just makes us feel good relaxed and smile at how life can be.....
I had my own fare share but one in particular that has shaped me into who I am, maybe I could say it was an innate gift I didn't know existed until I grew older to realise it and I grew up to love it even more and I'm proud I didn't neglect this childish side of me.
As far as I can remember it all started when I noticed a boy who always In every service have to go out for a presentation in our local church and I was kinda challenge by that and so I also began going out for presentation too,
The first time I ever hold the mic to sing in front of over 50 people was in an all-night service in church, so I saw this song on TV and liked it, I told my self I'm going to sing that, I began practicing with our TV remote as a microphone, singing alone whenever the song was played, that night my heart almost jumped to mouth, when I heard my name out loud, like a robot I got up walked to the front of the church grab the mic and just began singing whether the instrumentals were following or not I was just singing staring at the floor as if the lyrics were written down there lol.....
After that night I began to make presentations more often, acting Dramas and talk shows in church then, whenever I was in our Sunday school I always have to ask questions or answering one, I felt so free about it, i could air my opinion In any matter, soon I was made the children's choirmaster
Fast forward to present-day
Not like I became a great singer tho, but all of what transpired when I was in my innocent stage as a child soon molded me into who I am today with an amazing personality as a public speaker, presenter, creative writer, coach and a counselor, all of these things has build a man in me of which I'm proud of today, I never knew how I overcame stage freight without knowing, today I can stand In front of crowds and talk without stuttering, speak politely and fluently.
It's true that every speaker is a writer and a reader, I began writing things without knowing how it all began, most times I hear quotes and words then I began jotting down these things, that's how I never knew almost on a daily basis I was writing down these nuggets not until a formed of mine saw them and said I could write a book out of these things, I saw the light in what he just said, that was how I began developing my first book which I later published in 2016 titled ATTRIBUTE OF SUCCESS
It became better years later in 2020 when I was introduced into hive as excited as I was to write, I jumped right in and been on hive as so fine tune my writing and oratory skills, inspired by almost everything I'm an avid writer hoping to build my own empire of writers, in all fields, creating a sustainable and a multiple-stream of income on the chain and other endeavours writing for movies documentary, screenplays, drama, anchoring events, TV shows interviews talk shows and more all these began in my innocent state as a child which today I'm very proud of myself that I didn't shy away from all that.
