During the first episode of these teachings Bro Eli emphatically teachings on Doing Good first to members of the household of faith, which what i have observed in several videos of the #mcgi and i know its a major part of its doctrine, to not only preach the word of God to save the lost souls but also to carter to thier needs in every way possible

Talking about being financially responsible to others, i believe its part our responsibility as believers to reachout to a brother, a sister in need, right from when the church began in ancient times this was the practice every now and then they would make provisions for welfare of the members, infact it is the love among the church that continue to add more and more souls to the kingdom, we practice what christ did, while he was on earth,

after teaching the multitude he sensed that they were hungry and so had to make provision for them to be fed, the church of God at this times should wake up, most time what can make a man backslide is not all sin, hunger, frustration, not receiving help, lack of love even in the church can make a man all back into sin and began to do things he has stop doing for a longtime...

That is what the book of 1John 3:17 emphatically means by saying whosever have his Good of this world but shut his bowl of compassion there is no love of God in him, also mathew 25:43 talked about this too, jesus teaching the people of what will likely come at the end of time were he will cast some away because they did not reciprocate the love they have for God to their fellow human, while they all act up saying they love God but did not show that in relating to others

Jesus answered them and said, as much as you do same to the least among you you have done same unto me vs 45

Just read a story of a young man who stopped going to church because when he was in dare need, when his mom was really ill, lying in the hospital bed but no one from his church cared, he lost interest and stopped going go church entirely, this is someone who had being going to the church from childhood, but the church despite being in church headquarters.

This is should be a crucial arm of the church building the welfare department strong so that they can cater for their members, the church is a refuge ground were people can run in, and get help.
