Valle del Espíritu Santo [Esp/Eng]

Holis, ¿qué tal, gente, cómo están? ¿Cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Por aquí, gracias a Dios, todo chévere; espero que por su parte también sea así.

Continuando con el recorrido de mi fin de semana, también visitamos el Valle del Espíritu Santo porque, la verdad, es que todo aquel que viene a la isla de Margarita y no visita el Valle, básicamente no vino a la isla, así como sus playas y la linda localidad de La Asunción.

Continuing with my weekend tour, we also visited the Valle del Espíritu Santo because, honestly, anyone who comes to Margarita Island and doesn't visit the valley basically didn't come to the island, just like its beaches and the beautiful town of La Asunción.

El punto es que a mí particularmente siempre me emociona ir al valle por cualquier situación porque el ambiente del valle es muy fresco y siempre transmite una vibra de paz que la verdad a mí me encanta. Lo único que nunca me va a gustar del valle es que mi perdición son los puestos de bisutería y para ello trato de pasar lo más lejos que pueda o muchas veces ni ver, porque de verdad que la artesanía que allí venden es muy hermosa.

Saben que nosotros no sabíamos las horas de las misas, entonces, como fuimos el domingo, la idea era salir temprano, pero tuvimos otro tipo de complicación, lo que hizo que saliéramos a las diez y media de la mañana un poco preocupados porque, honestamente, pensábamos que no llegaríamos a la hora, pero por suerte resulta que la misa la realizan los domingos a las 11 de la mañana y antes de eso hacen un rosario.

The point is that I personally always get excited about going to the valley for any reason because the atmosphere there is very fresh and always conveys a peaceful vibe that I really love. The only thing I will never like about the valley is that I am addicted to the jewellery stalls, so I try to walk as far away from them as possible or often not even look at them, because the crafts they sell there are really beautiful.

You know that we didn't know the times of the Masses, so, as we went on Sunday, the idea was to leave early, but we had another complication, which meant that we left at half past ten in the morning, a little worried because, honestly, we thought we wouldn't make it on time, but luckily it turns out that Mass is held on Sundays at 11 a.m. and before that they say the rosary.

Además de eso, fuimos al Paseo de las Empanadas a desayunar y la verdad estaban riquísimas las empanadas, con un costo de 1 $ cada una, pero les diré que vienen bastante repletas y con muy buen sabor, además de lo amables que son al atenderte.

Luego nos sentamos un rato en la plaza porque, por lo menos de mi parte, yo tenía a Jade y los perritos no pueden entrar a la basílica ni siquiera entrada por salida. Para poder entrar a ver a la Virgen, le pedí el favor a mi novio de que me la sujetara para yo poder ir a verla, ya que ya se encuentra en las alturas, linda como siempre. Para mí siempre será un placer visitarla y disfrutar de su ambiente. ¡Saludos!

In addition to that, we went to Paseo de las Empanadas for breakfast, and honestly, the empanadas were delicious. They cost $1 each, but I'll tell you that they're quite filling and taste great, not to mention how friendly the staff is.

Then we sat for a while in the square because, at least for me, I had Jade with me and dogs are not allowed in the basilica, not even through the entrance or exit. In order to go in and see the Virgin, I asked my boyfriend to hold her for me so I could go and see her, as she is up high, beautiful as always. It will always be a pleasure for me to visit her and enjoy the atmosphere. Cheers!
