Mi nuevo trabajo / My new job

Holaaaa, qué tal amigos, ¿cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? La verdad, yo me siento súper feliz, no saben cuánto ya poco a poco les iré explicando, quédense conmigo para mostrarles…

Finalmente, culminé mi proceso de pasantías, y estos fueron mis resultados. No sé si yo les comenté que para poder realizar mis pasantías solicité mis vacaciones en mi trabajo. Yo actualmente trabajo en el departamento de mantenimiento de habitaciones en el hotel Sunsol Isla Caribe y la verdad les puedo decir que le doy gracias a Dios por permitirme vivir ese proceso me demostré a mí misma lo fuerte que puedo ser a pesar de que no es un área que sea mi fuerte o precisamente un área para mujeres.

Finally, I completed my internship process, and these were my results. I don't know if I told you that in order to be able to do my internship I requested my holiday from my job. I am currently working in the room maintenance department at the Sunsol Isla Caribe Hotel and I can tell you that I thank God for allowing me to go through this process and I proved to myself how strong I can be even though it is not my strong area or an area for women.

Me siento un poco melancólica porque gracias a mi trabajo de mantenimiento y el apoyo de mis jefes fue que yo logré culminar mis estudios universitarios, pero como dicen por allí uno debe buscar su lugar en la vida y ese trabajo siempre lo vi como algo temporal no como nada fijo la verdad, pero doy gracias a él por lo que me permitió ser y por todo lo que me enseño.

I feel a bit melancholic because it was thanks to my maintenance job and the support of my bosses that I managed to complete my university studies, but as they say, you have to find your place in life and I always saw that job as something temporary, not as something fixed, but I thank him for what he allowed me to be and for everything he taught me.

Los que son nativos en la Isla de Margarita seguramente saben de qué les voy a hablar, Parque el Agua, el destino turístico favorito de muchos y confieso que mío también, el cual cerró sus puertas debido al descuido de la pandemia del COVID-19 que no permitió que nadie saliera de sus casas y el parque sufrió las consecuencias del abandono. Afortunadamente, tenemos esperanzas de nueva apertura, pero como ya lo han visto, son estructuras metálicas que tardarán un poco en recuperar, pero sí se tendrá.

Those of you who are natives of Margarita Island surely know what I am going to talk about, Parque el Agua, the favourite tourist destination of many and I confess mine as well, which closed its doors due to the neglect of the COVID-19 pandemic that did not allow anyone to leave their homes and the park suffered the consequences of abandonment. Fortunately, we have hopes for a new opening, but as you have already seen, they are metal structures that will take some time to recover, but they will be there.

Cuando me dieron la noticia, quedé con una cara de asombro que no se la imaginan; adivinen quién ya tiene trabajo como asistente administrativo. Quiero decirles que se siente una emoción demasiado enorme, es una respuesta a tantas oraciones y peticiones que pedí en esta vida, y hoy doy gracias a Dios por eso. Una nueva experiencia que me va a enseñar mi campo y lo que estudié no saben lo feliz que estoy.

When they gave me the news, I had a look of astonishment on my face that you can't imagine; guess who already has a job as an administrative assistant. It is an answer to so many prayers and requests that I asked for in this life, and today I thank God for that. A new experience that is going to teach me my field and what I studied, you don't know how happy I am.

Aunque el camino va a ser muy largo para que el parque pueda dar apertura a los visitantes ya me encuentro trabajando en el área y la verdad aún falta mucho, pero créanme que será de lo mejor, también no les voy a negar que me encanta por la comodidad que queda cerca de mi hogar y puedo ir y venir tranquilamente, gracias, amigos por leer hasta el final y quedarse conmigo con esta maravillosa noticia, los quiero un montón deséenme suerte, amigos, besitos hasta otro post.

Although the road is going to be very long so that the park can open to visitors I am already working in the area and the truth is still a long way, but believe me it will be the best, also I will not deny that I love it for the convenience that is close to my home and I can come and go quietly, thank you, friends for reading to the end and stay with me with this wonderful news, I love you a lot wish me luck, friends, kisses until another post.
