Detrás del telón [Esp/Eng]

Hola, ¿cómo están, amigos? Por acá todo bien, gracias a Dios. Ya por fin mañana es viernes y el cuerpo sabe que va a descansar, jajajajaja, espero y deseo que estén pasando un lindo día.

Hoy me acordé que era jueves de Tbt y decidí buscar en mi galería un recuerdo lindo para compartir hoy con ustedes, lo cual la verdad tenía muchos, pero estos en especial hoy me hicieron sentir un poco melancólica y a la vez alegré.

Today I remembered that it was Tbt Thursday and I decided to look in my gallery for a nice memory to share with you today, which the truth is I had many, but these especially today made me feel a little melancholic and at the same time I was happy.

Hoy revisando mi galería encontré fotos de mi antiguo trabajo estando en la corporación y dije, bueno, todo lo que el huésped no ve, pero uno que está rodeado de ese medio sí.

Les contaré un poco, antes de tener mi trabajo de oficina me desenvolví en un área totalmente de hombres, era en lo que su momento había para ofrecer y de verdad yo necesitaba el trabajo así que no me quedo de otra que aceptar, fue donde me di cuenta el gran trabajo que hay detrás de ese telón que como huésped no vemos.

Today going through my gallery I found pictures of my old job being in the corporation and I said, well, everything that the guest does not see, but one who is surrounded by that environment does.

I will tell you a little bit, before I had my office job I worked in an all men's area, it was what the time had to offer and I really needed the job so I had no choice but to accept, it was where I realised the great work that is behind that curtain that as a guest we don't see.

El departamento de mantenimiento donde yo trabajaba se encargaba de hacer el chequeo de que la habitación estuviera en óptimas condiciones para el huésped realizando retoques si era necesario, y allí estaba yo, con mis boticas de máquina de guerra y mi ropa llena de pintura supervisando y cuidando muy bien los detalles de cada uno de mis muchachos y que no les faltara ningún tipo de material.

El hotel tenía una política de cambios que la verdad a mí me gustó mucho, nos generaba empatía con nuestros departamentos hermano, tanto que me tocó pertenecer al departamento de ama de llaves por un día y la verdad es todo un reto armar esas camas e incluso hacer sus lindas formitas para que el huésped lo aprecie con cariño es un trabajo rudo además de la limpieza de la habitación.

The maintenance department where I worked was in charge of checking that the room was in optimal conditions for the guest, making touch-ups if necessary, and there I was, with my war machine bottles and my clothes full of paint, supervising and taking good care of the details of each one of my boys and making sure that they didn't lack any type of material.

The hotel had a change policy that I really liked a lot, it generated empathy with our brother departments, so much so that I had to belong to the housekeeping department for a day and the truth is quite a challenge to assemble those beds and even make their nice linens so that the guest appreciates it with love, it is a tough job in addition to cleaning the room.

Por eso pensé que curioso es cuando no conocemos el trabajo que hay detrás más que de solo llegar y encontrar una habitación acogedora, a veces quisiera que todos esos huéspedes mal humorados cambiaran su manera de ver al personal porque todos trabajamos y merecemos respeto y yo que estuve en ese medio a veces hay unos casos donde no se aprecia, agradezco a Dios y a la vida por haberme permitido vivir todo ese proceso para llegar a donde estoy y seguiré por más, pero el siguiente post fue hecho con amor y reconocimiento a todos los que con amor nos esforzamos por un futuro mejor.

That's why I thought it's funny when we don't know the work that is behind more than just arriving and finding a cosy room, sometimes I wish all those bad tempered guests would change their way of seeing the staff because we all work and deserve respect and I was in that environment sometimes there are some cases where it is not appreciated, I thank God and life for having allowed me to live all that process to get to where I am and I will continue for more, but the following post was made with love and recognition to all those who with love we strive for a better future.
