Self Esteem is the how someone feels about him/herself. It is about liking who you are, appreciating one's achievement,believing in one's abilities, overall self worthy, confidence and valuing one self. Self Esteem will go a long way in achieving one's academic, career, relationship/friendship/marriage goals in life. It is a vital part of one's life,it can significantly influence one's confidence, assessment, evaluation and practices. A low self esteem individual will always be shut down by critical damaging comments, failure to achieve a set down rules or success, anxiety and even depression.

Increase in Confidence; This is an act of having self assurance. This isn't about what other people say about you, your appearance, your products or even positive criticism.

Surround yourself with positive people,vibes and comments. Spend time with people with quality assurance, encouragement and support. Do not stay in the way of people that will undermine you or your efforts.
Challenge Negative Thoughts; Notice when you're being negative about yourself, try to reframe them in a positive way.
Set Realistic and Achievable Goals; This will increased focus and directions, you already have a map of your destination, therefore it will be easy to achieve and self esteem will rise.
Having Self Esteem is essential for overall well-being of individuals. By believing in yourself, resilience efforts, challenging negative thoughts, celebrating one's success, focusing on one's strength etc. It is necessary because of it's beautiful advantages.
