'Restarting Afresh :A double edged Sword!'

The idea of starting life afresh is an appealing but crucial decision to take. It is always easier to say it, because looking forward to erasing ugly experiences, trauma, past mistakes,regrets and starting a new, and starting a new experience one has got is an offer every body wants to embrace. But, as tempting and captivating is it, we can not shy our face away on the important facts that some beautiful relationships which has been gained over the years would also be tampered with in the process.

Starting life afresh will give me the opportunity to correct some of my past mistakes. There were some decisions I had taken in this life that are haunting me. For instance telling someone a secret I would have love to keep myself with nobody knowing about it. The idea of knocking that someone is aware of that past of me, is particularly haunting me, starting afresh will therefore give me the honor of developing a strategy which will prevent a similar reoccurence in the future.

Also, I would like to pursue a new passion, which is entirely different from my present career. My present career was chosen out of desperation to enter university, there was no proper tutoring or orientation on my side in picking my course of study at that time, now I regret not being councel. Because if I was councel and guided properly, I would have followed my passion which is entirely different from my present career.

Apart from pursuing a new passion, correcting past mistakes, leaving negative and toxic relationships will serve as a turning point in my overall well-being. I have found myself in an environment I am not proud of. Starting afresh will give me the opportunity to pick an environment I will be comfortable in, which will eventually allow me to flourish and make positive impacts in the society.

0 afresh to me also mean reinventing in myself. This is me trying a new identity of myself that I didn't even know I could be,exploring another personalities of myself, or discovering new values. All these make me a new me.

As I reflect on correcting past mistakes or starting life all over, I will pick starting life afresh, and this will mean erasing some past memories, trauma and challenges, regrets etc. However, all these are just mere thoughts which aren't possible, but then embracing self esteem, discovery and growth is a game changer.
