Experiencing the hard way to say goodbye to a loved one
Losing a loved one is usually not an easy moment to experience especially when it happens to be a close relation or someone you love so much that unites you both with memories. The emotions that surrounds us when we lose our loved ones makes us feel so sad like we wish it never happened but as we all know death is inevitable which is a call we will definitely answer someday.
For the past few weeks now i have been mourning a loved one which happens to be my mum and to be sincere am still in shock that she is gone forever. it is a really tough moment for me to say goodbye to someone that have always been there for me just to ensure her son is ok with her little way of caring and support. we communicate almost everyday on watsapp calls which is her daily routine to keep in touch with her children.

The last time i heard her speak was on February, 9th 2025, this past few month's, though we didn't talk much on phone because she wasn't feeling too well and she needed rest, so i just have to communicate with one of my brother who was close to her to keep a touch and ensure she's ok. Later in the evening my brother called me and told me that they have rushed her to the hospital that she was complaining of stomach ache.
The doctors at the hospital she was rushed to carried out a test on her and discovered that she only had malaria so they placed a drip on her to begin treatment. Around 2AM in the midnight i heard my aunt dog crying so heavily which was strange to me. I came out in the midnight to check if there was any suspicious movement around in the compound but noticed none not until i called my brother who was with my mum at the hospital to ask about her health and he told me she just gave up which was very difficult for him to say because he was still in shock.
We cant predict the next minute
We live in a world where we really dont need to brag about anything because everything we own on earth will still remain here and we will leave with none but instead we need to play a positive impact that will make people to always remember us for good. like i I said earlier, death is inevitable which have respect for no one and when it comes that is final and when it will also come we definitely have no idea.
My both parents are late now because i lost my dad 7 years ago on Christmas day which was also a tough moment back then, when people around the world were celebrating Christmas, my family and I were mourning a loved one which was heartbreaking and a difficult moment to handle.

This is really a hard moment for me to say goodbye but i know in my heart that wherever they both are, they are happy and we will keep on praying for them.
One will never be prepared for the death of a loved one, it is a stage that we will all go through, it happens in unexpected situations, I hope you can have that support, and if you want to cry, cry, in time your soul will find peace.
losing a loved one isn't easy in such moment but with time life moves on again.
I'm really sorry for your loss. Losing a parent- especially one as caring and present as your mom - leaves a deep emptiness that words can't fully describe. Your love for her really comes through in what you wrote. Take all the time you need to grieve and heal. And I'm sending you strength and comfort during this tough time.
mothers really mean a lot to us with the role they play in our lives. thanks for the kind words and I appreciate you stopping by.
