Extending A Helping Hand For My Mother-In-Law's Birthday

Have a nice day everyone! I'm here in my wife's parent's house because there is a celebration which is a birthday of my mother-in-law. I travelled half an hour to get here and when I arrived it's already late in the afternoon and we started the processing and cleaning of the meat.

When I arrived they already killed the goat so I just helped separate the organs, clean the skin and feet. It's a small goat weighing 18 kilos so it's not difficult to clean because it's young and with the help of a boiling water it's easy to remove unnecessary parts of it.

I saw my brother in law removing the coconut from its husks. That's a lot of coconuts and that's for the Biko. It's a sticky rice with the caramelized sugar and coconut milk locally called "latik" That is one of the food in the celebration but they cook a lot and we made it a snack while we are preparing the meat.

This is their "boy" (Worker) at home. He was cleaning the internal organs of the goat.

Also this is us, the worker here and my father in law's brother helping together to clean the chickens.

While I'm busy working there and also my wife helps in the kitchen preparing some of the dishes as well as the decorations our kids are at the motorcycle thinking of driving and they had fun. Even though they are still 2 years old and 4 years old but they are very responsible kids. They are observant and they play together. Though they have misunderstandings sometimes about the toys and foods but at the end of the day they always say I love you and goodnight to each other.

After a long and tiring preparation we had a videoke at their balcony. I'm not good at singing but as a sign of respect I do sing. I love singing but I don't have that golden voice. We have a toast of tanduay select, one of their favorite liquor here because it's cheaper compared to beers.
I saw everyone very happy and I'm happy I was there and able to extend help in my very best.
