The topic I want to talk about today came from a TV show I watched yesterday, about a girl who decided to study mechanical engineering, and her family, which is mostly made up of women, wrote it all down.
They argued that it was a man's career. How could she choose to study that career?
Then I think: In this historical context in which we live in the world, it has been proven and there has been a lot of fighting for equality (although I prefer to call it equity) between men and women.
And it has been amply proven, and is proven every day, that women can do the same, and even more, than men can do.

Of course, I don't deny biology. Generally, women are less strong than men. It's an anatomical issue, and denying it would be absurd.
Therefore, yes, perhaps men can carry more weight, run harder, and may even have greater endurance than us in some aspects.
However, on a professional level, we are just as capable of working, in any field, as men.
And we even look more beautiful.

Girls, I know that, and we all know that. Now all that's left is for those who doubt it to finally believe it. It's sad to see how sometimes we women are the first to undervalue and discriminate against ourselves, because of our very status as women.

A few days ago, a young writer was justifying to her colleagues why she wasn't a better writer, why she hadn't succeeded in her literary career, and why she hadn't written more, just because she was a woman and a mother of two children.
She said that, being a woman, she had things to do that men didn't. And I was thinking about my husband, who does everything around the house and helps me so much.
On the other hand, I am also a mother of two children and an artist just like her. I have been successful in my professional and personal careers. @maylink is a mother of three beautiful children and has succeeded in her literary career. @maiasun84 is also a mother, @yuraimatc is also a mother, and many more.
Being a mother or a woman can't be an excuse for not doing certain jobs or not studying.
Don't be the problem: be a woman. We are the solution to all problems.

El tema de lo que quiero hablarles hoy, salió de un programa de televisión que vi ayer, sobre una muchacha que decidía estudiar una carrera de ingeniería mecánica y la familia, compuesta mayoritariamente de mujeres, puso escrito en el cielo.
Alegaban que aquella era una carrera de hombres. ¿Como ella iba a elegir estudiar esa carrera?
Entonces pienso: En este contexto histórico en el que vivimos en el mundo, se ha demostrado y se ha luchado mucho por la igualdad (aunque yo prefiero llamarle equidad) entre el hombre y la mujer.
Y se ha demostrado con creces y se demuestra cada día, que las mujeres podemos hacer lo mismo, e incluso más, que lo que pueden hacer los hombres.

Por supuesto, yo no niego la biología. Por lo general el sexo femenino tiene menos fuerza que el masculino. Es una cuestión anatómica y negarlo sería absurdo.
Por lo tanto, sí, quizás el hombre pueda cargar más, correr más fuerte, e incluso, puede que tenga mayor resistencia que nosotras, en algunos aspectos.
Sin embargo, a nivel profesional, nosotras somos igual de capacitadas de trabajar, en cualquier área igual que los hombres.
E incluso, lucir más hermosas.

Muchachas, eso lo sé yo y lo sabemos todos. Ahora solo falta que las que lo dudan, se lo acaben de creer. Es triste ver como en ocasiones, nosotras las mujeres, somos las primeras en que nos subvaloramos y nos discriminamos, por nuestra propia condición de mujer.

Hace unos días, una muchacha escritora se estaba justificando ante otros colegas, de no ser mejor escritora y no haber triunfado en su carrera literaria y no haber escrito más, por el hecho de ser mujer y madre de dos niños.
Decía que, al ser mujer, tiene cosas que hacer, que los hombres no hacen. Y yo pensando en mi esposo que hace de todo en la casa y me ayuda muchísimo en todo.
Por otro lado, yo también soy madre de dos hijos y soy artista igual que ella. He tenido éxito en mi carrera profesional y en lo personal. @maylink es madre de tres hermosos niños y ha triunfado en su carrera literaria. @maiasun84 también es madre, @yuraimatc también es madre y muchas más.
Ser madre o ser mujer no puede ser una justificación para no realizar ciertos trabajos o no estudiar.
No seas el problema: sé una mujer. Nosotras somos la solución a todos los problemas.
