Hello, friends of Pets on Hive.

As a child, my first pet was a cat. Since then, they've been my favorite pets. There's no place I go, no city I visit, where I don't find beautiful cats like these.

This is the pet cat of the Nicolás Guillén Foundation in Las Tunas. Her name is Frida. She's a beautiful and very affectionate cat.

I love little kittens. During the pandemic and lockdown, I was thoroughly entertained by my cat's kittens.

For the first few months, they spent all their time playing and were incredibly fun. My husband only understood this when we had our own kittens a few months ago.

We adopted two cats: Amateratsu and Nefertiti.

Only after experiencing having kittens at home did he truly understand what I was talking about.

This is a stray cat that crossed my path yesterday. He's incredibly affectionate, and I was struck by his gaze.
I'm really tempted to pick him up and take him home. However, as a cat owner whose cats also go outside to play, I wouldn't like to think that he has an owner and that someone would sadly lose their pet.

Like this kitten, for example. He lives at the Hotel Nacional alongside dozens of chickens, hens, and peacocks.

It's not a joke. They keep him there for the enjoyment of cat-loving guests. That way, they have a beautiful feline to pet.

This is a type of therapy widely used in various parts of the world.

And, speaking of therapy, of course, I can't forget my cat, Nefertiti, who loves to sleep in my hair.

I adore her purring as she falls asleep. Her sister prefers to sleep on my chest or at my feet.

Her purring is the best relaxing therapy there is.
Cats are wonderful creatures. Only someone who has them at home can truly understand this. My husband is living proof. After you have the first one, you start wanting more and more. They're never enough, are they?

Hola, amigos de Mascotas en Hive.

De niña mi primera mascota fue un gato. Desde entonces, son mis mascotas preferidas. No hay lugar al que vaya, no hay ciudad que visite en la que no encuentre gatos hermosos como estos.

Esta es la gata mascota de la fundación Nicolás Guillén, en Las Tunas, se llama Frida. Es una gata hermosa y muy cariñosa.

Me encantan los gatitos pequeños. Durante la pandemia y el aislamiento, me entretuve muchísimo con los hijos de mi gata.
Durante los primeros meses se la pasan jugando y son muy entretenidos. Mi esposo vino a comprender esto cuando tuvimos los nuestros, hace unos meses.
Adoptamos un par de gatas: Amateratsu y Nefertiti.
Solo cuando vivió esa experiencia de tener gatas bebés en casa, pudo entender lo que le contaba.

Este es un gato arrabalero que me salió al paso ayer. Es extremadamente cariñoso y me llamó la atención esa mirada suya.
Ganas no me faltan de recogerlo y llevarlo para mi casa. Sin embargo, como dueña de gatos que también salen a la calle a jugar, no me gustaría pensar que tiene dueño y que alguien lamentablemente la pérdida de su mascota.

Como este gatito, por ejemplo. Vive en el Hotel Nacional junto a decenas de pollos, gallinas y pavos reales.
No es una broma. Lo tienen allá para el deleite de los clientes amantes de los gatos. De ese modo tienen a un hermoso felino al que acariciar.
Esa es una variante de terapia muy utilizada en varias partes del mundo.

Y, hablando de terapias, por supuesto, que no puede faltar mi gata, Nefertiti, quien adora dormir entre mi pelo.

Adoro su ronroneo mientras se duerme. Su hermana prefiere dormir encima de mi pecho o mis pies.
Su ronroneo es la mejor terapia relajante que existe.
Los gatos son unas criaturas maravillosas. Solo aquel que los tiene en casa, puede lograr comprender eso a cabalidad. Mi esposo es la evidencia de esto. Después que tienes el primero, comienzas a querer tener más y más.
Nunca son suficientes, ¿verdad?
