One of my favorite coffee shops reopens / Reabre una de mis cafeterías preferidas (eng-esp)

Hello, coffee friends ☕.

I was very happy to learn that the “Richín” coffee shop, run by a friend of mine and the father of a guitar student at my school, had reopened to the public.
This is a coffee shop run by a family of artists (a father who is a painter and a son who is a music student) for artists.

Initially, they have a menu that is somewhat reminiscent of the menu they offered back in the day, when I decided to celebrate my birthday here. However, like any business, it has to start well, but gradually recover.

As a novelty, one of the new surprises is this stage, designed for live music performances of small formats and solo artists.

This is a family-run establishment, and by family-run, I mean that the father, son, and grandmother work here, and the facilities are the rooms in their own home.

I love the furniture, as well as the entire decor. This vintage furniture, with its dim lighting, artwork, and unconventional ornaments, has always given Richín a unique and artistic touch.


In several corners and spaces of the café, there are objects alluding to coffee, such as this pilón.
This instrument was used to grind roasted coffee beans in the eastern provinces and poorer areas of the country, especially until the middle of the last century. However, it is still used in some mountainous areas and for cultural tourism.

Here we have a jar full of roasted coffee.

And, of course, the manual coffee grinder.

Another surprise of the reopening was the expansion into this new room.

This is where the bar and all the cafeteria equipment are located.

And very close to the bar is this new space, almost a private room.

It's the most bohemian space in the whole house, as the seating is on the floor, atop cushions and rugs.

It has a spirit, somewhere between oriental and casual, that makes it interesting. It breaks with the conventional seating pattern.
It almost invites you to say let's talk about something very important, but let's do it where no one can see us.

And I left the most important thing for last: the coffee ☕ .

Without a doubt, it's a delicious and beautifully presented coffee, in the most pleasant locations.
And now with these new spaces, whether enjoying live music or the privacy of the new room, the enjoyment is even greater.

Having a coffee at the “El Richín” café is like having coffee in your own home. The service and the owners make us feel at home.
Only with live music occasionally, and ambient music the rest of the time.
If you pass through Las Tunas, you know where to go for a good cup of coffee.

Hola, amigos del café ☕.

Me puse muy contenta al enterarme de la cafetería “Richín”, administrada por un amigo mío y padre de un estudiante de guitarra de mi escuela había reabierto sus puertas al público.
Esta es una cafetería de una familia de artistas (padre pintor e hijo estudiante de música) para artistas.

Inicialmente tienen una oferta que dicta un poco del menú que ofrecían en antaño, cuando decidí celebrar mi cumpleaños aquí. Sin embargo, como todo negocio, debe comenzar bien, pero ir recomponiéndose, poco a poco.

Como novedad una de las nuevas sorpresas está este escenario, pensado para presentaciones de música en vivo, de pequeños formatos y solistas.

Esta es un establecimiento familiar y por familiar me refiero a que aquí trabajan Padre hijo y abuela y las instalaciones son las propias habitaciones de su casa.

El mobiliario me encanta al igual que toda la decoración. Este mobiliario vintage, con su ambientación a media luz, las obras de arte y adornos poco convencionales, siempre le ha otorgado un toque artístico y único al Richín.

En varios de los rincones y espacios de la cafetería se encuentran objetos alusivos al café, como este pilón.
Este instrumento se utilizaba para moler las semillas de café tostado, allá en las provincias orientales y las zonas más pobres del país, sobre todo hasta mediados del siglo pasado.
Sin embargo, aún se utiliza en algunas zonas montañosas y de turismo cultural.

Aquí tenemos un tarro lleno de café tostado.

Y, por supuesto, la máquina manual de moler café.

Otra de las nuevas sorpresas de la reapertura, fue la ampliación a esta nueva sala.

Aquí es donde se encuentra la barra y toda la utilería de la cafetería.

Y muy cercana a la barra se encuentra este nuevo espacio, casi que se puede decir que es un reservado.

Es el espacio más bohemio de toda la casa, ya que el asiento es en el suelo, sobre cojines y alfombras.

Tiene un espíritu, entre oriental y desenfadado que lo hace interesante. Rompedor de esos esquemas del asiento convencional.
Casi que invita al vamos a conversar de algo muy importante, pero hagámoslo donde nadie nos vea.

Y para el final dejé lo más importante: el Café ☕ .

Sin duda, es un café delicioso y muy bien presentado, en lugares de lo más agradables.
Y ahora con estos nuevos espacios, ya sea disfrutando de la música en vivo o de la privacidad de la nueva habitación, el deleite es mayor.

Tomar un café en la cafetería “El Richín”, es como tomarse un café en tu propia casa. El servicio y los dueños nos hacen sentir como en casa.
Solo con música en vivo, en ocasiones, y música ambiental el resto del tiempo.
Si pasan por Las Tunas, ya saben a dónde deben ir a tomarse un buen café.
