I'm a lucky woman. I'm a concert guitarist, and I love my job. My work can be done any time of year, including Christmas.

So what's the big deal? I'm not worried about having to work at Christmas: my work is always a celebration. I love playing guitar anywhere and anytime. Playing always makes me happy, and when I play, I make other people happy.

I think that's what Christmas is all about: being happy and making everyone we can happy.

Christmas is a time of joy and for being with family. But I also like to include friends and all those people who have been with us throughout the year, in one way or another.

Therefore, yes, I have worked on several occasions during Christmas. I have done so, precisely, at Christmas celebrations, and I don't mind it. In fact, I really enjoy working during these holidays because everyone is happy; everyone is in a celebratory mood, and therefore, all the music and art I can bring them is enjoyed even more.

Of course, for an artist, work isn't a burden. I can't imagine working in any other profession. Much less one that involved office hours and sitting behind a desk.

The great thing about my job is that I can choose when and where to do it. The great thing about art and creation is that it gives us a freedom of action and spirit that other professions don't have.

So, when I'm working during Christmas, I actually see it as if I'm part of that celebration. Because, in fact, I'm celebrating with them too.

Hola, amigas mías!

Soy una mujer afortunada. Yo soy guitarrista concertista y amo mi trabajo. Mi trabajo puede hacerse en cualquier momento del año; incluído en las navidades.

¿Qué sucede con esto? Que no me preocupa tener que trabajar en navidad: mi trabajo es una fiesta siempre. Me gusta tocar la guitarra donde sea y como sea. Siempre que toco me hace feliz y cuando toco, hago feliz a las personas.
Creo que de eso va la navidad, de ser y hacer feliz a todos los que podamos hacer felices.

La navidad es una época de alegría y para estar junto a la familia. Pero, además, me gusta agregarle a la familia de amigos y a todos aquellas personas que nos han acompañado durante todo el año, de un modo u otro.

Por tanto, sí, he trabajado en varias ocasiones durante la Navidad. Lo he hecho, precisamente, en celebraciones de la Navidad y no me pesa.
De hecho, me gusta mucho trabajar en estas fiestas porque todo el mundo está feliz; todo el mundo está en ánimo de celebración y, por tanto, se disfruta más toda la música y todo el arte que pueda llevarles.

Por supuesto, para un artista, trabajar no es algo que pese. No me imagino trabajando en otra profesión. Mucho menos si esta tuviera que ver con un horario de oficina y sentada detrás de un buró.

Lo bueno de mi trabajo, es que puedo elegir cuándo y dónde hacerlo. Lo bueno del arte y de la creación es que nos da esa libertad de acción y de espíritu que no lo tienen otras profesiones.
De modo que, cuando estoy trabajando durante la navidad, en realidad yo lo veo como si estuviera unida a esa celebración. Porque ,de hecho, yo también estoy celebrando junto a ellos.
