I was born to serve music / Nací para servir a la música LOH Community contest #239 (eng-esp)

Hi girls, today I'm back with the answer to LOH Community contest #239
I was born to serve, and to serve music. I believe I've talked in another post about my vocation for service. I feel good helping and contributing to the well-being of others.
But at the same time, I can't imagine doing anything other than being a musician.

The one who first realized my love for music, at the tender age of 7, was my grandmother when she found me playing an invisible piano in my room.
That day, I was sitting as if I were in front of an audience, performing my version of whatever melody X was playing on the television.

When my grandmother asked me if I wanted to learn to play the piano, I said yes, and immediately, she sold the refrigerator in the house and bought me an upright piano.
Yes, she sold the refrigerator to pay for the piano.
That was the greatest gift I'd ever received and one of the ones I value most; from that moment on, my life changed forever. That was a turning point.

My grandmother is a role model and a role model for who I am today. She lived to serve me and taught me to do the same for others.

I started taking private lessons, and when I went to enroll in school, I couldn't enroll for piano because I needed at least two years of practice, and I only had one.
Therefore, I decided to start studying classical guitar.

Today I am a guitar teacher in several provinces of my country, and it gives me great pleasure.
Teaching guitar is one of the great privileges life has given me. Teaching is another way to serve, not only the musician, but also the universal culture, the culture of my country, and music.
Being a teacher allows me to merge my two vocations.

Today, after performing on various stages in Cuba and around the world, I'm still that little girl who plays the guitar even in her dreams.
Everything I've dreamed of, everything I've set out to accomplish, I've achieved. Of course, I set achievable goals and plans. That doesn't mean I won't continue dreaming or that the next goal won't appear. They will appear, of that I'm sure.
When they appear, you'll find me teaching or playing the guitar, because that's what I am: a loyal and passionate servant of music.

Your grandma is a gem 🥰.
Do you play the piano sometimes or you only the guitar now ?

In Cuba, when you study any instrument, you're also required to learn piano, but at a more basic level. So yes, I also play piano, but casually, not professionally.
I still really like the piano.
What I do most is write arrangements of piano pieces to play with my guitar quartet.

It is very emotional to have your grandmother's support, it is what makes you continue to be that little girl who plays the guitar even in your dreams.
Undoubtedly teaching guitar, as you say, is another way to serve, not only the musician, but also the universal culture. Being a faithful and passionate servant of music is very valuable, I hope you continue to reap the best success, thank you for sharing your experiences,
