Dreaming alone is not enough / No basta solo con soñar (eng-esp)

Hi, girls.

During times like Christmas, we take stock of what we've accomplished this year and what still needs to be done.
It's during these days that we gather all those ideas and visions of the future and focus on them. It's when we set new goals and objectives to achieve.

This vision of the future is and always will be necessary, because if we can't picture ourselves with our goals achieved, it's very difficult to reach them.

However, we must be careful when dreaming, because a vision without action is useless; it's just a dream.

Let me be clear: dreaming isn't enough. A goal without concrete steps is just an illusion that consumes energy. But it's also not about drifting aimlessly, because that can turn your life into chaos. Moving without direction, adrift, makes you waste energy on things that don't add up. On the other hand, living without goals, without dreams, without a reason to live, is almost like being dead while still alive. You need balance.

To achieve this, we need to have clear goals. It's not enough to say "I want to be better." We have to carefully plan the steps we're going to take.

This means breaking down that big dream into small, achievable tasks. We have to set priorities and focus on specific things so we don't drift aimlessly.

If your vision is vague, your actions will be scattered. Every step taken must be a firm step with a clear purpose. Consistency in those small actions is what builds the path.

On the other hand, acting without thinking is just as dangerous. It's the opposite extreme. Running without a plan wears us down constantly correcting mistakes and changing course. It's inefficient and frustrating. Pure action, without the guidance of a vision, is noise and movement without real progress.

The key, then, is to unite vision with action. To know where we're going and start walking with consistency and discipline.

Vision gives you the map, action is the journey. One doesn't work without the other. Because it's not just about dreaming, but about doing and achieving.

My dream was to be a musician, and that's why my priorities were always related to studying concert guitar.

I didn't just imagine it; I planned my practice hours, chose my studies, and focused on the competitions and performances that brought me closer to that goal.

Today, I am proud to be a concert soloist. My dream has come true, and I am on my way to achieving new ones. Because you can never stop dreaming, or stop doing.

Hola, chicas.

En épocas como la Navidad, es cuando hacemos un recuento de lo realizado en el año y de lo pendiente por realizar.
Es en estos días cuando tomamos todas esas ideas y visiones del futuro y nos enfocamos en ellas. Es cuando nos proponemos nuevas metas y objetivos a cumplir.

Esta visión del futuro siempre es y va a ser necesaria, ya que si no somos capaces de vernos con nuestros objetivos cumplidos, muy difícil que lo logremos.
Sin embargo, hay que tener cuidado a la hora de soñar, ya que la visión sin acción no sirve de nada, es solo un sueño.

Permítanme ser claro: soñar no basta. Una meta sin pasos concretos es sólo una ilusión que consume energía. Pero tampoco se trata de moverse sin rumbo, porque eso puede convertirse en un caos para tu vida.
Moverse sin dirección, ir a la deriva, te hace gastar fuerza en cosas que no suman. Por otro lado, vivir sin objetivos, sin sueños, sin una razón para vivir, es casi como estar muerto en vida. Se necesita un equilibrio.

Para lograrlo, tenemos que tener nuestras metas claras. No basta con decir "quiero ser mejor". Tenemos que planificar bien los pasos que vamos a dar.
Esto significa desglosar ese sueño grande en tareas pequeñas y alcanzables. Hay que establecer prioridades y enfocarnos en cosas puntuales para no andar a la deriva.
Si tu visión es difusa, tus acciones serán dispersas. Cada paso dado, debe ser un paso firme y con un propósito claro. La constancia en esas acciones pequeñas es lo que construye el camino.

Por otro lado, actuar sin pensar es igual de peligroso. Es el extremo opuesto. Correr sin un plan nos desgasta corrigiendo errores constantemente y cambiando el rumbo. Es ineficiente y frustrante. La acción pura, sin la guía de una visión, es ruido y movimiento sin progreso real.

La clave, entonces, es unir la visión con la acción. Saber a dónde vamos y comenzar a andar con constancia y disciplina.
La visión te da el mapa, la acción es el viaje. Una no funciona sin la otra. Porque no se trata de soñar solamente, sino de hacer y cumplir.

Mi sueño fue el de ser músico y por eso siempre mis prioridades eran relacionadas al estudio de la guitarra de concierto.
No solo lo imaginaba; planificaba mis horas de práctica, elegía mis estudios, y me enfocaba en los concursos y presentaciones que me acercaban a esa meta.
Hoy tengo el orgullo de ser una solista concertista. Mi sueño fue cumplido y estoy en camino a realizar otros nuevos. Porque nunca se puede parar de soñar, ni de hacer.
