Hi friends, I just stopped by an art gallery and wanted to share what I saw with you.

It's a small gallery in the city, but with quality works.
I wanted to share it here with you because the most incredible thing about these pieces wasn't the colors, but the details in their workmanship. Especially the small details.

Semiotics also plays a significant role in contemporary discourse. This piece plays with various symbols (the doodle, the forks, the rag, etc.) that are designed primarily for Cubans.

This particular piece is filled with objects from decades ago placed on a canvas in the shape of the Cuban flag.

This beautiful bronze bell reminds me a lot of the Demajagua bell, for example.

I don't understand the purpose of this little ceramic angel, but it inspires a feeling of tranquility and, at the same time, it unsettles me.

The old compass reminded me of my elementary school; of those days when all our schoolwork was done by hand.

And speaking of crafts, here we have the doodle again.

This wooden sculpture with Philips screws in its hair is very thought-provoking... I can think of dozens of different meanings. What do you think?

Paper is another of the materials used in the exhibition. I'm deeply intrigued by the construction of this piece.
It's made up of dozens of rolls of paper. Printed paper on which you can read the writing, if you look closely.

This particular painting amazed me because of how meticulous and Detailed drawing.

Look at this excellent work. The thousands of stories in this drawing.

Hola, amigos, acabo de pasar por una galería de arte y quisiera compartir lo que vi con ustedes.

Es una pequeña galería en la ciudad, pero con obras de calidad.
Quise compartirla aqui con ustedes ya que lo más increíble de estas piezas no eran los colores en ellas, sino los detalles en su factura. Sobre todo, los pequeños detalles.

La semiótica también juega un gran peso en la plática contemporánea. Esta pieza juega con varios símbolos (el garabato, los tenedores, el trapo, etc) que están pensados sobre todo para los cubanos.

Esta pieza en especial está llena de objetos de décadas atrás colocados sobre un lienzo con la forma de la bandera cubana

Esta hermosa campana de bronce me recuerda mucho a la campana de la Demajagua, por ejemplo.

Este angelito de cerámica no entiendo qué objetivo tiene, pero me inspira un sentimiento de tranquilidad y al mismo tiempo, me inquieta.

El viejo compás me recordó a mi escuela primaria; a aquellos tiempos donde todos los trabajos escolares los realizábamos a mano.

Y hablando de trabajos manuales, aquí tenemos al garabato otra vez.

Esta escultura de madera con los tornillos Philips en el cabello, da mucho que pensar... se me ocurren decenas de múltiples significados. ¿Qué creen ustedes?

El papel es otro de los materiales utilizados en la exposición. Me intriga de sobremanera la confección de esta pieza.
Está conformada por decenas de rollos de papel. Papel impreso en el que se pueden leer lo que tienen escrito, si te fijas bien.

Este cuadro en particular, me maravilló por lo meticuloso y detallado del dibujo.

Fíjense en este excelente trabajo. Las miles de historias que hay en este dibujo.
