Hi, ladies!
With a lot to do, I'm answering this week's community quiz questions.

I've never considered myself a superstitious person, but I do believe in omens and signs.

My grandmother was a very superstitious woman. Too superstitious, even for someone who considered herself an atheist. She was one of those who avoided spilling salt, who covered mirrors when it thundered, who didn't like black cats, and who avoided walking anywhere where there was a ladder leaning against the wall.

I never believed in any of that, but I listened to her when she ordered me to do something "to avoid bad luck."
It was my husband, @abelarte, who first told me he truly believed in magic and that I was a "little witch" with a lot of power.

When he told me, the first thing I thought of was my grandmother, who had called me that way since I was a child: little witch. I loved it, especially because of the poem that reminded me of her and that begins like this: Wise little witch here in the nest...

It was he who made me pay attention to some things, like my love for blouses with bell-sleeves. And when I looked back and saw several photos of my presentations, I noticed this pattern on several of my favorite blouses.
He calls them witch sleeves.

Here, I've commented on several occasions that I've achieved everything I've set out to do in life. For that reason, Abel, every time he wants something, tells me so I can "intend" it. That's what he calls it.
One day when we were talking about magic, books like those by Carlos Castaneda, and related topics, I told him I didn't believe in magic. It was then that he replied: What do you mean, no? Haven't you noticed that every time we need something, I tell you so you can intend it, and it comes to us? I didn't tell you so you wouldn't realize it, but now you know.
And so it has been. I hadn't realized it, but it's a reality.
When I'm running out of coffee, or sugar, or just want a good ice cream, suddenly someone appears and gives it to me.

I don't know if it's coincidence or magic, but it happens.

Honestly, I don't believe in magic. Not in the same way my husband does, but I do believe in signs. And signs are there to be followed.
If all this is a sign that there really is something, be it magic, energy, or chaos, who am I to deny it?

I sincerely wish magic existed. If it did, I'd already be a long way off.
Besides, I wouldn't be alone. There are other witches like me here on #hive.

Con mucho que hacer contesto las preguntas del concurso de esta semana en la comunidad.
Nunca me he considerado una persona supersticiosa sin embargo sí creo en los presagios y en las señales.

Mi abuelita era una mujer muy supersticiosa. Demasiado; incluso para alguien que se consideraba atea. Era de las que evitaba derramar sal, la que cubría los espejos cuando tronaba, no le gustaban los gatos negros y evitaba pasar por cualquier lugar donde hubiera una escalera se recostada la pared.
Yo nunca creí en nada de eso, pero le hacía caso cuando ella me ordenaba algo “para evitar la mala suerte”.
Fue mi esposo @abelarte, el primero que me dijo que creía verdaderamente en la magia y que yo era una “brujita” con mucho poder.

Cuando me lo dijo, en lo primero que pensé fue mi abuela, quien desde niña, me llamaba de ese modo: brujita. Aquello me encantó, en especial, porque aquel poema que me hizo recordarla y que comienza de ese modo: Brujita sabia aquí en el nido...

Fue él quien me hizo prestar atención en algunas cosas, como en mi gusto por las blusas de mangas acampanadas. Y al hacer memoria y ver varias fotos de mis presentaciones, noté este patrón en varias de mis blusas preferidas.
Él las llama mangas de bruja.

Aquí he comentado en varias ocasiones que todo lo que me he propuesto en la vida lo he conseguido. Por esa razón Abel, cada vez que quiere algo me lo dice, para que yo lo “intencione”. Así le dice.
Un día en que estuvimos conversando sobre la magia, libros como los de Carlos Castaneda y temas así, afines, yo le dije que no creía en la magia. Fue entonces que me contestó: ¿Cómo que no? ¿Tú no has notado que cada vez que necesitamos algo yo te lo digo para que tú lo intenciones y se nos da? No te lo había dicho para que no hicieras consciencia, pero ya lo sabes.
Y así ha sido. Yo no me había percatado, pero es una realidad.
Cuando se está acabando el café, o el azúcar o sencillamente quisiera tomar un buen helado, de pronto aparece alguien y me lo regala.
No sé si es casualidad o magia, pero me ocurre.

Sinceramente, no es que crea en la magia. No del mismo modo en que mi esposo lo hace, pero sí creo en las señales. Y las señales están para ser seguidas.
Si todo esto es una señal de que en realidad hay algo, llámese magia, energía o caos, ¿quién soy yo para negarlo?

Sinceramente quisiera que la magia exista. Si fuera así ya tengo un buen camino adelantado.
