Truly, a picture is worth a thousand words. If images could speak, they would have done a good job in discribing the stories or emotions behind each picture we take. Better still they might ve able to remind us of tye date and time the pictures were taken.

I have numerous pictures from school but i have misplaced a great deal of them due to relocation movement, sone had gotten spoiled due to being keept in an area that got eet iver the year. And other factors.

I was able to lay my hands in this because my friend wwhom we snapped the picture together sent it to ne through WhatsApp massage sometimes ago. Since the imsge was sent, i xan nit help but look abd Thank God fir how far we had come.

This picture was taken oon the day we celebrated our departmental day as an undergraduate. Just before this picture was taken, the HOD of our department had just finished addressing us. In his address, he adviced us to settle all scores and finish all our business within ourselves as we msy nit have tge opportunity of seeing or talking to ourselves again.

After that speech, i dragged my good friend Oyebola Mutiat to myself and hugged her as if my life depended it. Need i tell you that I sob in while the hug lasted. There abd then, our campus photographer Uncle Sam decided to capture the movement for us.

He never charged us for this picture, he made two copies of it and gave us one each. He said it was his parting gift to us and i really appreciate it. It's been over ren years today, Mutiat and i are still very much in contact but each time i scroll through ny phone's gallery abd see this picture, i can nit help but be greatful fir hiw far we have come.
