Regret is never a choice

Welcome to my blog.

Better to die trying than live regretting. This phrase is a big one and it's worth discussing with all strength. In life, what we stand to achieve is at the other dude of fear and the journey of a thousand miles would surely start with a step.

The first step taken in achieving greatness may feel uncertain, uncalculated or out of fear, tell you what, the final steps are usually the glorious ones. Another thing is the first few steps to greatness are usually taken alone or in isolation, believe me when I tell you that the last lap of the journey is usually crowded by people who wish to be part of your history or benefactors.

While on the journey, doubt would creep in then you begin to think if what you are doing is right, maybe you should put a stop to it or probably pause it and continue later. For what it may, try as much as possible to finish the race, do not stop or relent till you get to the finish line because once you stop, you may not be able to go back and finish up as hindrance will always arise.

Sometimes ago, I was attending seaming class but I had to stop because the stress was really telling on me. Each time I had to give my dress to a seamstress to see after stopping the class, I felt unfulfilled and wasted. My joy knew no bounds when I had the opportunity to go back and conclude my beginners class on seaming. Only then was I able to enjoy the fulfillment that comes with trying without giving up.

Though I have the intention to continue or better still upgrade my seaming knowledge as time goes by, for now the basic knowledge which is needed to be advanced on has been achieved. Trying can be difficult, it can take time and one may be drained while trying but it is better to try and fail than to live in regret of not trying at all.

Totally agree, success is not achieved by giving up, but by taking it one step at a time, being consistent and focused till the end.
Nice you went back to complete your sewing training and now you're enjoying the benefits of doing so.
